Gosh, where to begin. I have been on a natural hair journey this year. All my life I have colored my hair and treated it terribly. After a surgery I had, I had a major hair shed…I mean clumps coming out. I was so depressed that I would just wash my hair at night and go to bed. I have been wanting to take it a step further and find something to help me keep my curls from flattening out overnight. The SLAP looked ideal. I wanted one for months but had a hard time wanting to let go of 30.00 plus shipping so I waited for a sale. Got it for Black Friday for 20.00! Oh dear…this cap is a disaster for my curls. It actually pulls them out instead of keeping them coiled up. The cap is also something that could be made with a beanie from Walmart and a piece of satin…it seems to be an hg for many but a disaster for me. I am now looking into old school satin bonnets because I want something to wear to bed if I’m wanting to deep condition.
