This stuff burned like crazy. I left it on for the 5 minutes like the instructions said. I noticed a burning sensation before the 5 minutes so I should have taken it off sooner. Regardless, the stuff is awful. I feel like I have a chemical burn now. I usually use Surgi Cream and have never had a problem with that one. I couldn’t find it so I bought this terrible stuff. Now it is the morning after and my skin still feels like it is burning. Never again. Stay far away from this stuff.

Did not work on my light upper lip hair so annoying

I had some annoying hairs above my lip. I tried this because it was on sale. It all seemed to go well, I washed my fave, moisturized, then applied the cream, leaving it on for one minute less than maximum because it was burning. The good news is the hair is gone. The bad news is even after applying a heavy moisturizer the skin is till red and flaky and slightly painful. I’ve never had sensitive skin before. Three days later the redness is gone but it feels scaly. At least the hair is gone, sigh.

I noticed some blonde hairs around my upper lip. I found this at the store and I absolutely love it. I leave it on for roughly 10 mins and then wipe away with a warm wash cloth. I am hair free for 3 weeks or so. Defiantly worth the price, I normally pay $4 and change. I will continue to use this product, I love how it makes my skin feel velvety smooth.

It works great. The trick to avoid it stinging is to make sure you slather a heavy moisturizer at least 30 minutes before using it. You also have to leave it longer than 5 minutes for all the hair to dissolve, I leave it for 11 minutes max. Use a moisturizer afterwards to calm your skin.

I’ve tried so many hair removal methods and this is the only method that I truly like. The other depilatory that I used was Veet and the hairs would grow back quickly and very blunt. I also noticed that small cysts would appear days where the lotion was applied. This Nair depilatory removes the hair quickly, but the hairs take a while to grow back and I’ve noticed that the ends are more tapered so it feels better to the touch. I also didn’t notice any skin problems after using. I don’t go over the 5 minute rule, because it could cause chemical burns. 5 minutes is enough honestly. It smells bad, but it’s worth putting up with.

If you have hair on your upper lip, chin, etc. then you should check this product out. It’s what’s kept me from trying the trend I’ve seen where girls take a single blade razor to their face (I’m terrified of cutting myself.)
I’ve used this stuff for at least ten years. Different variations of the Nair Face Cream formula, as they seem to update it every few years (different packaging, slightly updated formula.) The one I have now says “Nair Hair Remover Face Cream Moisturizing”. I don’t know about the moisturizing part… I guess it doesn’t dry me out in the areas I use it, so there’s that. But it’s not like this is an actual face cream or moisturizer… it’s a hair removal product. So to me it sounds a little misleading.
It contains sweet almond oil and would be nice if it smelled like it but no… it’s your regular old disgusting typical Nair scent. The cream itself is pink, which doesn’t matter but I thought I’d mention it. It’s the same consistency as regular Nair (sorry if you’re unfamiliar with Nair in general, it’s just easiest to make comparisons that way.)
The way I use it is exactly as directed. I squeeze cream onto my finger and spread a thick, even layer to cover hair. I leave it on for 5 minutes then wipe off the cream with a warm damp washcloth. Then I cleanse the area with soap and water and pat dry.
If you leave this stuff on for longer than five minutes or don’t get it all the way off, it WILL burn your skin and leave it red. That’ll go away in a day or so, but it’s a risk.
The claims on this are: thorough hair removal… long-lasting visible smoothness… easy, fast, and pain free. I’d say all the claims are correct. If used correctly it will get rid of any unwanted hair anywhere on your face. I use this stuff about once every two weeks. Hair starts growing back in after about a week but doesn’t get to the point where it’s noticeable until the two week mark. It’s definitely easy, 5 minutes is relatively fast, and if you do it right it’s completely painless.
I paid I want to say around $5 for this at WalMart and you get 2 oz of product. I got this one over a year ago, maybe even closer to two. I use it on my upper lip and occasionally my chin and other areas of my face. I still have quite a bit left. The packaging is pretty good. It’s in a squeeze tube but it’s wide and can be easily stored upright cap-side down. The only problem I have is about six months ago the lid stopped closing all the way. Not sure how or why this happened, but it still stands upright and the product hasn’t dried out at all.

I’ve never tried a hair removal cream before, so I thought I would give this one a try. I was very careful to read all the instructions prior to use, and even still I regret ever thinking of using this product. First, It smells awful and slightly lingers. It says to never exceed 10 min and I never have. But it does not remove any hair. And it burns! Even after the product is removed!! Afterwards it dries out my top lip leaving the skin flakey! I tried to remove the peach fuzz and just made the whole situation worse!!!

I cannot live without this stuff!! I don’t notice much of the awful smell in this product like I do other nair products. It is absolutely amazing! No more waxing for me all I have to do is apply this directly on the hair above my lip and within 5 minutes BAM! It’s gone. Don’t leave it on for to long though or else you’ll burn yourself. A+++++ product!

I used to love this.I have VERY thick dark hair naturally. When I first started using it,it worked wonders.Got all the hair off and upper lip and chin were completely smooth.I would always put it on for the maximum time. That was two years ago.But in the last year it just slowly stopped working for me.Now it does not work at all.I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula or what…..I gave it a 3 out of 5 because it used to work sooo well.If you do try it,I recommend using a very good lotion afterwards.I always used Nivea face cream.
