The problem with this is that the heating element sleeve does not get the wax hot enough. I was pressing and rolling and cursing and not getting any results. I left it plugged in overnight. Still nothing.
I finally just took the wax cartridge out and put it in the microwave for thirty seconds (upright, in a glass just incase).
After that it worked very well.
To my knowledge, Veet makes hair removal products exclusively. They have one job. They should be fired.

This system has a very thick wax in it, which doesn’t roll out at all, unless I heat it up for an hour. The wax does indeed stain my legs and it hurts my skin because I have to press so hard to let the product come out. It’s very hard to remove residues of the product too… Small hairs don’t get waxed so after a week you’ll already feel hairs.
I’m curious about other wax systems though, but this system didn’t work good at all.
If you’re doubting about buying this product, you could try it and buy it, and if it doesn’t work for you, you can return it with the receipt (depending on where you bought it).

I can’t understand the negative feedback for this product. I just used it for the first time (bought on special for $29.95, usually $49.95). It is fantastic! I am truly impressed. Literally takes 10 seconds to put it together and plug into the wall. Best left for an hour to heat to a good temperature. Yes, it does come out a pink colour but easily waxes off first time. I am dark haired and have obvious coarse hair and it worked a treat. I only used two strips, one for each leg. Way less painful than the salon, and the wipe pads they include are nice smelling and soothing and take any wax residue away. I am a convert. So glad I didn’t let the bad reviews put me off. Try it.

I don’t know if i can put into words how much I hate this product.
Firstly, at almost $40 (Australian) the price is abusrd. Secondly, the wax consistency and general feel/ look is something I’d expect from a dirt cheap, low quality, imitation brand. It goes on a sickly, dirty pink/ peachy opaque colour reminiscent of bathroom tiles from the 70s, which stains your skin! Your legs get a disgusting pink hue, and any wax not picked up by the strip does not come off your skin no matter what you do. Now if only after all that you could at least justify the the cons by having smooth, perfectly waxed legs, but you can’t. The wax barely grips the shorter hairs, and results are very patchy. You need to repeat over the same area multiple times, making the process long and you run out of the very few overpriced disposable paper strips that come with the pack. So, unless you are George of the jungle, or wait 2 years between waxes, this product will NOT deliver. Biggest waste of money ever. And very, very false advertising from Veet. Will never buy this again.
