I decided to use this hair color system because I dyed my hair blonde some years ago and it was a huge MISTAKE and i still had traces of blonde in my hair that I needed to get out. I couldn’t stand it. I picked this up from Target, and the shelves were HALF EMPTY. I guess everyone uses this. This retails for about 14.99, which is a little pricey for me & I had to get two boxes. For $31.00 i needed this to do its job! . I picked up the color in SOFT BLACK. I initially wanted an auburn color, but they didn’t have it. Let me just say you truly get your moneys worth. Soft black came out looking JET BLACK but it definitely covered all of my blonde hair . I LOVE IT. My mom tried using a lighter color from this line and it didn’t really take on her hair. I think darker tones really take. My locs are soft and shiny. I don’t use the cream conditioner and shampoo on my hair so I usually give that to a friend and use Dr. Bonners Shampoo instead. I will definitely use this hair color system again. I love this color sooo much!
