Perfection! Finally an ash brown that matches my hair, is not flat or matte, has dimension, highlights, super shiny, covers gray hair, doesn’t itch or burn my scalp and is not one solid witchy black color that makes me look dead. This color enhances my skin tone (NC20) it’s a very flattering, sophisticated, very dark brown with a medium brown golden undertone, covers brass and resistant grays, hope they don’t discontinue it, very hard to find and it’s only available at Target.
EDIT: Color is still going strong, no fading, gray hair is still covered, this color doesn’t turn gray hair into highlights but turns them into actual dark brown hair. Now after four washes you can see the tone/undertone on the front of box, my roots match the side swatch.
EDIT: Five washes later and the color is pretty much perfect, multi-dimensional, got some subtle highlights in different shades of dark brown, I am used to red or copper highlights so this is a nice change, color is super shiny and the tone/undertone has taken more to that gold/warm tone that I like, you can see that my hair is a dark espresso brown and not black, similar to the picture on the front of Nutrisse in #30 Sweet Cola-darkest brown.
EDIT: This color stays in your hair forever, it is exactly like black dye, you have to be very sure that you want this color otherwise is very difficult to remove. I switched to a different tone and the only way to get rid of this color is with a haircolor remover or a “bleach bath”.
EDIT: I am no longer using this color since it is next to impossible to find in it in stores.
