I used this shade in #51 Cool Tea to cover my previous dye, it was Nutrisse in #61, it’s a beautiful color but too light for my skin tone and also got a lot lighter three weeks later, it was making my skin look very tired and sallow. Medium ash brown looks purple and gray in the bowl and on my head it looked an alarming dark gray/black. It covered all my very resistant gray hair, lifted my roots about half a shade and warmed up my super ashy dark brown into a very nice dark medium brown with a warm golden undertone. On the first wash after coloring my hair had ok shine but now on my second wash it’s mega shiny and healthy looking. Great color for my NC15-20 coloring.
EDIT: Three weeks later and the color is going strong, finally I’ve found a color that covers my grays, the only con is that this is the only Nutrisse shade that has ever made my hair super dry, my roots feel extremely dry, I’ve been using Nutrisse for more than 10 years, I have no idea why this specific shade is so drying, will switch to #50 if the dryness persists.
EDIT: Switched back to #53 because it got very dark, ashy and dull, with no shine or highlights, it was making me look dead clashing with my skin tone.
