Wella Colour Touch is a demi permanent salon quality colour that you have to mix with a developer. I have root growth with some grey hair and wanting to save money on salon visits I decided to try and do it at home, not highlights but simply tone the roots. The website says this demi permanent covers about 50% of the greys which it did. For a professional product used by a non professional at home it did a fantastic job. I found a really good colour wheel online which explained all the tones and numbers and was able to then identify what colour I thought would work well with my roots (chose 9.0 which is a level 9 = light blonde, tone 0 = neutral tone aka not ash not gold) and the result turned out very well, despite my inexperience at home use. I got a mixing bowl and a brush to apply to roots only. There was almost no odour to the product and I experienced no skin irritation. Really happy with this, will be using again.
