I just reviewed the Ulta Red Color Enhance Glaze (New Formula) and having used the Ulta glaze, I soooo much prefer it to the Sebastian brand.

Many reviewers have said the Ulta glaze is really runny and difficult to work with but I found the Sebastian brand to be AWFUL for my hair – left it rough and feeling like straw – and it stained super easily.

Everyone’s hair is different. So that may be a big factor in the results I’m getting, but the Ulta glaze is super easy to work (and I think the New Formula might be a bit thicker than the older version) with after I shower/shampoo/condition then towel-dry my hair and head to the kitchen sink to apply Ulta glaze with cheapo latex gloves, put a hairband in hair on top of head, cover with Sally’s shower cap and leave for 20 min then rinse out. It leaves a beautiful finish to my hair! Super soft, with a lustre/shine that is gorgeous, especially in the sun!

With the Sebastian brand I saw zero positive results. Nothing. Straw. And it wasn’t fun to work with – – added nothing to my hair color or texture. Ish.
