I love the smell of this…it’s very clean, fresh and fruity. However, after a month of using this, I noticed these dry, scaly red patches all over my chest and neck. I moved on to a different Bath & Body Works scent, and it got even worse. I used Ivory bar soap instead for 2 nights and the rash was gone. Needless to say I will not be purchasing any more of their body care items. They are packed with perfumes, dyes, parabens and all sorts of other chemicals so I’m not really surprised that I broke out. Ivory, wonderfully cheap, light, and gentle soap, cured my adverse reaction to this shower gel. I will only be using Ivory from now on. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone use this shower gel in ANY fragrance.

I have to confess to being a bit biased when it comes to B&BW, mainly because we don’t have this wonderful brand in the UK. Which in my opinion is an absolute travesty and one that needs sorting. Soon! The closest ones to us are still in Poland (and that’s 1000 miles to far in my opinion). So until everyone involved sees sense and brings this brand to Britain, I have to get mine online or when I visit the States (which isn’t that often unfortunately).
Anyway, I’ve yet to find a B&BW shower gel that I don’t like and this one is no exception. It smells wonderfully citrusy (lemons, limes and grapefruits are all in there) and as with the other B&BW shower gels I’ve tried, it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft and moisturised. The other good thing is you don’t need a lot, so a dollop the size of a 20p (or a quarter if you’re in the US) is enough to produce plenty of bubbles to clean you from head to toe. Meaning a 295ml (10 fl oz.) bottle lasts absolutely ages.
Some reviewers have commented on these being expensive, but I personally don’t agree. When you consider that a simliar sized bottle in the UK would set you back about 7.50GBP (from somewhere like LUSH) this doesn’t actually seem all that bad price-wise (after conversion from USD to GBP). And the added bonus with B&BW is there’s so many more scent options to choose from!

I’ve purchased this twice now. I often buy my Shower Gels in bulk at the late-winter/early-spring Bath and Body Works sales and love to try out all sorts of smells. White Citrus is a favourite of mine because it is very clean and citrus-y.

This shower gel lathers well and it is not drying. White citrus is not my most favorite scent but it’s still okay. It leaves a really light scent on my skin which I wish was stronger and lasted longer on my skin.

Just like the body spray and lotion, this is tha bomb!! This is love to me. One of my favorite body washes and one of my favorite scents from BBW. This is an excellent product! It lathers wonderfully, smells very rich and clean and feels amazing on the skin leaving a soft, smooth feeling. This works really well when it is layered with the set. By itself I do find it to be a bit pricey, even the travel size is $5 or $6, which is outrageous for the smallest size. I always usually purchase these when I have a coupon, because even the bigger size bottles are over $10 just about. Maybe it’s worth the price, but I can’t bring myself to spend my money on it. It is a great shower gel though.

A grassy, zesty citrus scent. It reminds me of White Tea & Ginger, but with the emphasis on the citrus rather than the ginger. Lathers up and cleanses well without being drying, although I tend to use more product than is really needed. The regular-size bottles will stand upside down in the shower to get the last drops of product out, but the minis don’t.

I love the scent “White Citrus” – which to me smells like a “green” citrus – a light grassy/lemon-orange-grapefruit (general citrus) with a bamboo note and a soapy dry-down.
The shower gel is good, but the moisturizing shower cream is better – less drying for me.

This is a wonderful envigorating fragrance that reminds me of grapefruit with a hint of lemon. All of the Bath and Body Works shower gels lather well without being drying. But this is the one of the few fragrances I really love. It wakes me up in the morning and is strong enough for me to really smell it in the shower, but dissipates quickly afterward and does not linger on my skin. Which is exactly what I want. I never have to worry about it clashing with my fragrance.
