Beautiful scent – not overpowering, subtle and feminine. Smells similar to Chanel’s N5 loose powder. Did not cause any allergies to my sensitive skin. Plus, it’s not tested on animals!
My only complaint is there’s not really that much product that you’re getting for the price, considering it’s a body wash.
Would recommend.

This is a cream body wash that lathers decently, and as others have noted, has a baby powdery scent. It’s not strong enough to clash with your perfume, however. Not that crazy about it since as a “cream” body wash, I expect it to be more moisturizing, like the likes of Olay, Dove, Caress, and other DS versions. Also, the round container makes in difficult to squeeze product from it. All in all, it gets the job done, but won’t be repurchasing, since it doesn’t moisturize as well as the cheaper DS versions of this type of product. Also not crazy about the scent, but it’s not horrible.

Um, wow. I got a huge (16 oz) bottle at a Body Shop sale for a whopping $4! And it rocks. When I first poured it on my loofah, I did indeed think it looked like a lotion. But it lathered well, moisturized my skin beautifully, and left a faint powdering smell behind. There is simply nothing not to love!

ETA: Not so keen on this anymore. The smell is just too powdery, baby-lotion like for me.
Original review: This really doesn’t lather too much. In fact the less I pour into my hand the better it lathers – I think this is because it has oil in it. However, as a result it feels gentler on the skin and doesn’t dry it out so I prefer it to other gels which lather like crazy. The smell reminds me of baby powder or lotion.

I use this all the time. It is true it seems like a ‘lotion’ (but it IS called ‘cream’ body wash so not totally unexpected)- at first I thought this was a bit disappointing (everyone loves lather!) but then I realised it makes your skin sooooo soft, and it’s really gentle. I can really feel the difference after using it.
Personally I’d liken the Body Shop Vit E range to Johnson’s baby lotion- only better and friendlier to animals.
It has a similar smell to Baby Lotion too, and is a cute pink colour.
If you’re really concerned about lather, massage it into a puff first and that bubbles it up great.
Mild and lovely!

very disappointed in this product. Fragrance is soft and it does not irritate my skin but not a good body wash. Thought at first I had picked up the body lotion by mistake.
