I got this as a gift and it’s pretty nice if you like really sweet vanillas. Vanilla is never a scent I pick out for myself, but I don’t mind it. This one smells like vanilla cake batter while you use it in the shower, but it doesn’t actually leave much of a scent on my skin after. It lathers up nicely and I feel clean afterwards. It’s pretty average and my skin feels fine. It’s not a scent I would go out of my way to buy again, but I would try some other scents though. It’s a nice shower gel overall.

I pick this up every year during the holiday season. Sometimes it sells out before I can get my hands on it, so I paid too much for it ($12.50/bottle–ouch). It smells nice but doesn’t linger at all, and is a little bit moisturizing, but not a lot. I will look for it every holiday season, but I always make sure to smell it before buying, because some years the fragrance has been a dud.

Two words: sugar cookies. Sugar cookies is exactly what vanilla bean Noel smells like to me. Especially the shower gel. I think that the shower gel is what this scent smells best in.. The lotion comes off as a somewhat weak and plastic smell. The body mist is nice, but it fades quick. I will continue to purchase this scent as I hope it will continue to come out every year.

I usually don’t care for vanilla scented body care but this is an exception! I find that this vanilla is not overpowering but it does smell sweet and delicate. However, I feel like this body wash strips my skin… maybe that is all just Bath and Body Works body washes (I don’t use them usually). That’s a bummer because I have really sensitive skin and I don’t need help getting ashy. Overall, not horrible, but I wouldn’t use it every day if you have sensitive skin.

I love the vanilla bean scent a lot it reminds me of yummy vanilla cookies/cupcakes.
This shower gel lathers up great and rinses well!
Every year this is always a repurchase for me!!!

This is a must buy every holiday season. I love using this shower gel on the truly cold bitter winter mornings. This scent is so warm and cozy smelling. I’m usually not a fan of gels that smell like super sweet bakery like items but this one is an exception. Plus if you can get it on sale at B&BW and use a coupon – what a great deal! I hope they never stop making this scent. If they did, my winters would never be the same.

I never really used shower gel before this, but when I smelled it, it reminded me of vanilla cake and I knew I had to get it ! The packaging is very pretty, but It’s a bit hard to get out of the bottle. It cleans well and smells great while your in the bathroom, but I didn’t find it lasted through the day. Over all a great product, I would definitely buy again.

I dont really use shower gels but this one leaves me smelling like Christmas! I would definetley buy again next year.

I love the smell of this. I have to agree with the reviewer below me because that happens a lot with bbw scents where the scent differs by which product it is: body lotion, body wash, fragrance..etc. I don’t use the shower gel to wash my body I only use this for when I take bubble baths. This stuff bubbles up a lot so you only need a little amount and the smell of this reminds me of vanilla bean ice cream. Not sure if I would by this in a body lotion or fragrance but I will be buying another of the shower gels for baths. The scent lingers in your bathroom after you take a bath but not as strong on your skin.

There appears to be an issue with BBW quality control or consistancy problems with this formula since the scent of Vanilla Noel differs widely between the lotion, the body wash, the spray mist, and the body lotion. I tried all 4 of those, and to me the spray mist and the lotion smell wonderful…. but the body lotion has that plastic-y smell, or at least the one I tried. So great scent (sometimes), but you need to work out these kinks, Bath & Body Works!!!
