I bought this as I had a reoccurring skin infection of ringworm that I picked up at the gym. This has been the only thing that’s kept the infection from coming back, so in that respect, it’s a great buy. The only problem is it is quite expensive for the quantity you get, which stops me from using it as frequently.

This seems to be the only product that actually helps control the breakouts I get on my chest/shoulders area. I still get the occasional patch of small bumps, but certainly nothing like it used to be. I personally don’t mind the smell, although I see how it can be a little much for someone who is not used to tea tree oil. It can be a touch drying, so make sure to follow up with a moisturizer post-shower (which you should be doing anyways!)

This was OK. I’ve been using Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash for 15+ years to combat bacne and while I’ve never had a problem with it, this product intrigued me because of the tea tree oil. While my skin didn’t have any bad reaction or breakouts from this product, I found it takes a lot of the product to get a good, thick lather that really covers the skin. The smell is nice, but the amount of actual tea tree oil is pretty minimal and compared to Neutrogena it was expensive. I also don’t like the bottle, its squat size doesn’t want to fit in shower caddies or on shelves very well, and the cap breaks pretty easily. Maybe for someone who finds Neutrogena too harsh, this would be a good alternative, but it’s too expensive with too little tea tree oil for me. I won’t buy it again.

I remember using this a year ago when I had the worst back acne and it didn’t do anything at all. It didn’t make the spots smaller or dry out the skin it basically just worked like a normal body wash. I read good reviews on it so I persevered with this hoping it would improve but it didn’t. There are cheaper and better body washes for acne out there.

I’ve had bacne for over a year, and I’ve tried a lot of different products. Recently I decided to go buy the Tea Tree Body Wash and give it a try. As of now I’ve been using this product for a month now and I’ve noticed a change in my bacne, I now have less bacne and it’s also helping with fading the acne scars. Overall I would recommend this for people that have bacne.

People with serious bacne, do not bother to buy this!! It does nothing to help with the acne but instead it increases acne on my back. I guess it works for people with mild and occasional bacne but not for me.

I was getting a few zits on my lower back and how I counteract that is I have a bottle of TBS Tea Tree oil and I add a couple of drops to my shower cream and I have found this to be effective.
However, the TBS lady says I should just buy a bottle of the body wash and so I did.
I have no problems with the strong medicinal herbal smell which you can definitely get a whiff of the minute you open the bottle even in-store. I am ok with it especially when I think it could help the zits.
However, the tea tree oil body wash has done nothing for me. It did not clear up the skin and neither did it alleviate it. In fact, I felt I got more zits. I did not use this everyday but maybe once in 3 days when I had those pesky zits.
It did not help.
I have gone back to using my own method of adding the actual oil to my shower crème and it works way better to dry out the zits and make them disappear.
Good packaging in the light plastic bottle, the wash is very liquid and its pretty pricey for what it was in the end.

I live in a humid climate AND I am prone to breakouts on not just my face, but my chest and back if I’m not careful. This product is a must have in my shower. I don’t wash my hair daily so some of the oils, combined with my sweat easily can make its way to clog the pores on my neck, back, chest area and sometimes my upper arms. You would not be able to tell because I use this body wash daily. I do find that it helps to clear the acne, and keep it clear. It does feel mild enough to use on a daily basis (when I work out, I use this twice daily to wash my body). I use a light moisturizer after, nothing too thick. During the winter, I continue to use this body wash, but I use a heavier moisturizer. Good exfoliation and a good light moisturizer combined with this body wash allows my to rock the backless tops. I highly recommend this wash. The Body Shop is generous with samples, so give it a try if your hesitant. Also, The Body Shop OFTEN has BOGO sales, so I would wait for those.

I got this for my back acne as tea tree oil has antibacterial properties and I have to say that it works! After a few times of using it my pimples were almost gone, i used the polishing clothe also from the body shop and after shower I use lubriderm with AHA (the red one) and this is getting rid of the pigmentation left.
I rated it 4 because the smell is so terrible I can barely shower without being nauseous, luckily it also fades fast

I suffer from back acne and was constanly looking for a shower gel that will help lessen my acne. I saw this in a magazine and was recommended to prevent blemishes because of tea’s antibacterial attribute.
I ve been using this for a week now and I noticed that ny back is not so oily anymore. My back acne lessend and are smaller.
The smell is not citrusy but it smells “clean”. I use this with a sponge that i bought from body shop and I feel “clean” and exfoliated (from the sponge) after each bath.
