I received this as a gift. It was pretty good for a bar soap, but I prefer liquid soaps. I was impressed that unlike other bar soaps I’ve tried, this one didn’t make my skin feel dry or tight after using it. However, I also didn’t find it to be particularly moisturizing either. The fragrance is almost nonexistent, and while I’m not docking it points for that, I love my shower products to be fragrant. I’ve been using this as a body soap, but the website’s instructions make it seem like a hand soap: “Massage L’Occitane gentle soap onto hands. Rinse thoroughly.” Either way, it’s been working just fine.
I think this is best suited for those in need of a very gentle soap. For my own needs and preferences, this isn’t something I’ll be buying.
