I use this in the shower as a body cleanser. I started using bar soap as opposed to body wash because I felt like I was wasting product each time I poured some out. I’m not a fan of scented soap to begin with so this was a saviour to me. It lathers very well, cleans effectively and doesn’t irritate my skin. This soap is very inexpensive, and I don’t care for the packaging enough to go into detail, it comes in a box. With that being said, I’ll be using this for a long time.

I’ve been using this for years for my sensitive skin. It does not cause breakouts and has a very subtle fragrance. I tend to get back acne and this is helped with clearing it up and keeping it away.

I’ve been using this soap for years. Whenever I try something new, I usually switch back. I am, however, using something else now that I actually prefer. I’m in my mid forties and the hormones I guess are “a changin”. :). That being said, I still keep this soap on hand for shaving and if I need a quick shower in the evenings. Doesn’t over dry and doesn’t cause excess oil production. I have combo skin, not much for acne and actually pretty decent texture and tone. And love love love dove deodorant products as well.

I started using this as a facial soap as well as a body bar. It actually made my skin even drier than before use. My skin looks like leather after I use it and I have to pour on the moisturizing lotion when I get out of the shower. Although it seems to be geared toward super sensitive skin, I wouldn’t recommend it if you have normal to dry skin. If you have oily skin, it may be a possibility. My son’s cheap moisturizing soap works better than this name-brand product.

When I was working a full time job I use to use the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Anti-Bacterial Bar for body wash. It felt like such a luxury because of the rich creaminess of the lather which was perfect for my sensitive skin. Never felt dry or dirty with it. I recently lost my job and could not afford to spend $11 on a four pack for my beloved soap. Started looking at Dove and although the original blue bar used to make my hyper reactive skin so itchy I decided to go on a whim and try this sensitive skin version seeing as it was $12 for a whole ten pack. That’s a dollar more for 6 more bars of soap! I ended up truly loving this because it doesn’t make my skin feel dirty, doesn’t irritate my lady garden and actually moisturizes better than the Cetaphil. The only down side is that it lacks anti-bacterial properties but for the price, amount and how gentle it is for my skin I can deal with it.

Hey people, I’m new to this site but yet I feel like I needed to write a review on this product. I’m 20 years old (2 months till 21!!) and live in Pennsylvania.
It all started 2 years ago, throughout high school I had flawless skin. I could use a BP 2.5% cream with NO MOISTURIZER (I don’t know how) and never used anything else. When my senior summer came around I took a 3-week trip to Miami to hangout with my cousin.
My face got obilterated with sun rays the one day I fell asleep at the beach with no SPF on. I had sunglasses on so it left a nice glasse’s burn on my face. Nice.
I won’t go much further on my rambling. Ever since that day, my skin has been sensitive as a mofo. Seriously. I tried washing with more calming face washes, broke down and went and tried proactiv+ which made my face redder and break out more. Then I sorta just said “screw it” and just used Nivea for men face wash and scrub. It never truely cleaned my face the best, left me a bit rosy, but is great for lifting stubble before you shave.
Then I found this. This bar of soap is seriously love. Cheap as ever, take my advice if you have VERY sensitive skin like me and do it this way. Whether I exercise or go to work all day, I make sure to wash my face with Dove twice a day. In the morning, I run a luke-warm shower (NOT TOO HOT TO PEOPLE WHO ARE SENS.), I shampoo my hair, use body wash, then I finally gently massage the suds of this bar into my face for about a min/min. and a half and then rinse.
I don’t ever have to use goopy moisturizers anymore, and as a man it’s nice just to have to use one product on your face, thats it, and no problems. Face is moisturized, free of breakouts, and happy. Dove you did something right, thank you

Oh my god. This soap made my dry dry skin not itch anymore. My skin all over my body and face itch like crazy no matter what and this calmed it down! No scent, moisturising and it made my skin soft too! Yay!

Can’t live without this soap! I use it every day twice a day to wash my face. Does very well with taking makeup off as well. I also use it as my body wash because I know it’s way more natural than all those body washes out there. Plus, it has no significant smell, further agreeing with the natural aspect of this soap. I have extreme sensitive skin on my face and this has been the only product to not break me out. I don’t have or get acne at all but since using other products on my face, have acquired a few pimples. Dove Sensitive Skin soap takes care of that and is always loyal to my face!
I have had several friends ask what I do to keep my face so clear and clean looking. I recommend this soap and within a month their acne is either almost or completely gone!
This soap is everything! A must buy!!

This is my go-to bar soap during dry summers and harsh winters. This soap used with mild, lukewarm showers keeps my skin moisture up. It’s been recommended by different general practitioners to soothe skin aggravated by weather.
