I have very sensitive skin but this product doesn’t trigger me. I do find the scent too strong, but all Shea Moisture products are over-fragranced. I always open the soaps and let them “off gas” before I put them in my small bathroom.

Used to use Dove’s Sensitive Skin Unscented Beauty Bar for everything & while I still use that for shaving I wanted something more natural to cleanse my face and body. I first got my body all wet, then wet the huge block of soap, followed by turning off the shower water & the soap barely lathered & was hard to spread evenly over my body. I then turned the water back on & decided to cleanse my face. Immediatly when the bar is consistently wet it foams up amazingly. I proceeded to spread this evenly all over my face/neck & once I used my Clarisonic Mia it created crazy suds! (which I adore that this is all natural because now I know my Clarisonic is pushing really good ingredients deep into my pores instead of chemicals). I decided to cleanse my body once more with this soap but this time with the water running so that the bar can be consistently wet & of course it foamed up so much better than before. One bar does cost $5 which is expensive but for the huge size of this thing it would last me so long & considering it left my face & body super smooth with light-weight oils instead of the greasy, heavy cream of the Dove bar this is definitely a repurchase. My only reason for the one lippie off is because some people may not like having to keep the water on & have this bar constantly be wet in order to use it but for me it really is no problem considering it has coconut oil to make it lather instead of yucky surfactants & as we all know coconut oil melts easily.

This is the only soap I will use on my face. It won’t break me out, bother my sensitive skin, or dry me out but it takes off makeup well. Please don’t ever discontinue or I will be lost

I love the properties of this soap. It’s moisturizing, but the essential oil blend used as fragrance is very strong. It triggers my nasal allergies and asthma.
