I love this scent.
It is very true to name.
Smells like fresh leaves maybe sprinkled with morning dew drops.
Unfortunately the scent does not last on the skin but it is light and fresh and natural smelling.
Nothing generic smelling with this one.

This is the ultimate fresh, clean, green scent. It really does smell just like rain-wet foliage. Amazing in the dog days of summer. It has none of the astringency I associate with fresh scents, just beautiful clean green-ness. An amazing scent that I’m surprised they captured so well. Like all BBW Signature Collection shower gels, Rainkissed Leaves makes lots of foam and cleans well, but isn’t drying. This is a multiple repurchase for me.

I got Rainkissed Leaves Shower Gel by Bath & Body Works yesterday & it’s definitely one of my favorite scents. Its scent is described as “lush green leaves refreshed by cool summer rain” & that’s actually an accurate expression. It smells like leaves & citrus in my opinion. It’s a light, clean scent. One review says: “It smells like Hawaii, honestly.” I’m from Hawaii & that very same thing came to mind. I like its particular scent for the reason that it smells green & natural; it smells earthy & I’m actually outside.
Top notes are fresh cut grass, morning dew, summer rain, crushed green leaves, & sparkling grapefruit. Mid notes are lush muguet, bright peony, crisp watercress, & pink jasmine. Dry notes are must captive, super hedione, & fresh transparent woods.
The only issue with this—& I’m not sure if it’s because I’m really used to B&BW’s more heavy fragrances like Sensual Amber—is that it’s not long-lasting. I’m considerate though & keep in mind that the natural & real scent of leaves/grass isn’t strong. I only have the shower gel, I’m sure if I used the shower gel, then the body lotion or triple moisture body cream, & then end it with the fragrance mist, it would last all day. For those of you like me who typically wear stronger or more masculine scents, don’t be afraid to give a natural scent a try! I recommend. It costs $11 for a 10 fl oz bottle.

Bath&BodyWorks Rainkissed Leaves is a “crisp scent inspired by lush green leaves refreshed by cool summer rain”. This scent is a blend of Crisp Watercress, Lush Muguet, Transparent Woods, and Fresh Raindrops. Rainkissed Leaves has been discontinued in store for a couple years but is still available on line in 5 products. This scent can also be bought during Bath&BodyWorks semi annual sale. That’s when I bought my full size 10fl oz (295ml) bottle, I paid only $3 for it, it would normally run $11. This discontinued shower gel has has the old formula, which Bath&BodyWorks called “the world’s best daily luxury”. These shower gels are formulated to “provide the ultimate shower experience, pampering you with a luxurious lather of moisturizing aloe vera and nourishing oils, it gently cleanses, softens, and fragrances your skin”. Bath&BodyWorks is a PETA award winning, cruelty free brand (whether or not an award from PETA is a good or bad thing is up to you). All Bath&BodyWorks products are made in America.
Just like all Bath&BodyWorks Signature Collection shower gels, Rainkissed Leaves comes in a recyclable, clear, hourglass shaped, plastic bottle topped off with a silver pop up cap. I love how rarely Bath&BodyWorks dispensers clog or gum up and be gross. Rainkissed Leaves has a simple yet appealing label. A very realistic green leaf is lightly sprinkled with water droplets. The green background adds a lot of depth. The name of the scent is written in white lower case letters. The back label features a product and scent description, a full ingredient list, and a little bit of company info.
Rainkissed Leaves is a very soft scent, let me list out the notes:
Top Notes: Fresh Cut Grass, Morning Dew, Summer Rain, Crushed Green Leaves, Sparkling Grapefruit
Mid Notes: Lush Muguet, Bright Peony, Crisp Watercress, Pink Jasmine
Dry Notes: Musk Captive, Super Hedione, Fresh Transparent Woods
Rainkissed Leaves is very light and smells pretty natural. I’d call this scent unisex, I could see my boyfriend liking this scent and using it. Rainkissed Leaves smells like a mix of fresh cut grass, raked leaves, and dew. I don’t know how Bath&BodyWorks managed to capture these scents and make them into a shower gel, but I really like it. This is such a clean, green, refreshing scent. This scent is all vegetation, no fruit or floral notes seem to be present, even if they’re listed. This scent is really refreshing in the bath, but it’s so light that it barely lingers for more than a few seconds, its gone by the time you’re done bathing.
Rainkissed Leaves is a light green gel. Though Bath&BodyWorks says that their shower gel formula is “super charged with benefits”, I don’t think they’re really all that special. Don’t get me wrong, I really like B&BW Shower Gels, they just aren’t miraculous like the brand makes them sound. Bath&BodyWorks is just a little bit over enthusiastic. These shower gels lather super well, they’re so bubbly! Its fun. I don’t find this shower gel drying or hydrating, it just smells good and keeps me clean, that’s really all I ask for.
I like Bath&BodyWorks’ Rainkissed Leaves. It’s not what I expected, but that’s ok because it’s great just the way it is. This scent is green, fresh, and as realistic as the label’s artwork. This is one of Bath&BodyWorks rare unisex scents. Rainkissed Leaves is so light, I don’t think layering it would help it’s longevity. I can kinda see why this scent was discontinuing. Bath&BodyWorks caters to a young, girly demographic and this scent is pretty gender neutral. I think they should squeeze Rainkissed Leaves into their Men’s line, just under a different name. I might repurchase this shower gel during the next Semi Annual Sale in late January, I’m not sure yet. Check this scent out if you like leafy green, light scents or maybe pick it up for your boyfriend.

Got this in travel size and loved it. It is a fresh clean smelling scent that doesn’t remind me of anything in particular (not rain, not clover, not grass, not leaves, more like fresh clean air). It smells great in the shower but doesn’t linger afterward and won’t compete with your fragrance.

Just what the name suggests – wet green leaves. Not at all artificial or astringent, as “fresh” scents are prone to. Absolutely heavenly. I find that the new formulation makes mounds and mounds of lather with less, yet cleanses without stripping and rinses away easily. As always, I prefer products like this in a squeeze tube because it makes it easier to get the last dregs, but the new slightly hourglass-shaped bottle with silver cap is attractive.

This is a great spring/summer scent, very light and clean. The shower gel itself lathers well (even on a washcloth, which many shower gels I’ve tried don’t lather much unless you use a loofah), rinses clean, and doesn’t seem to dry out my skin in any way (although I can’t say that it really helps with moisturizing, either). Not a bad price when you get them on sale (which B&BW almost always has some kind of deal on their signature collection items). The only downside is that it’s difficult to get these bottles to stand on their head when you start running low on product, but that’s pretty minor and only a problem for those of us who like to use the very last drop. 🙂

Fresh and clean, fragrance is not overwhelming. Pretty green appearance, pleasing to the eye. Lathers up very nicely.

I like this scent, one of the few that BBW carries in their stores these days that I do like. In some ways it reminds me of the Green Clover and Aloe, but it’s different. It’s clean smelling and refreshing, smells just like it says. I would probably purchase again, they don’t have many like this anywhere else. Good product.

this is a great shower gel. we finally got a b&bw near where i live(im in canada) so this was my first shower gel from them. First off, the lather is amazing, very foamy and feels kind of silky. The bottle has a nice sleek design, and its pretty easy to grab in the shower. Now for the scent, it is awsome! i feel so refreshed every time i have a shower. it smells like i am walking through a lush forest after a rain shower. very clean and fresh, i look forward to my showers with this gel!
