I received this as part of a gift set, and I really enjoyed using it. The scent is a beautiful lavender-tinged white musk–very soft and relaxing. I also love the texture of this shower gel. I think Bath & Body Works has one of the best shower gel formulations. While a shower gel is never going to be as moisturizing as a creamy body wash, this one is not as drying as some. Even before lathering, it feels thicker and richer than your average drugstore shower gel. I think it must be the glycerin. It doesn’t foam up hugely, but I find it makes a cushy lather that leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. My only qualm with this product is the price for the quantity–$12.50 for 10 fl oz. I’d recommend waiting for a sale.

I adore the scent of this shower gel. Moonlit Path has a very deep, rich, lavender scent to it. To my nose it smells more expensive than it actually is. It is relaxing, as lavender should be and I love the soft purple color of the liquid. As for my gripes, I don’t care for the consistency of this product. It is a shower GEL after all, and it stays true to that. I would prefer something creamier. This does not lather very well either. I’m beginning to suspect that it is drying out my skin just a tad. Nothing major, but I do have to slather on a bit more lotion after I get out of the shower. I use this in the travel size bottle when I go away on trips. It’s so convenient and adds a relaxing touch to my shower, wherever I am. At home though, I prefer the Lavender bud shea butter soap by Pre de Provence.
