This body wash was indeed moisturizing and left my skin clean and soft.
I really did enjoy it. I think I might try some of the other scents. This particular scent was very nice, a bit different than all the same old scents on the shelves right now.
Sometimes I did find it a tad bit strong but never tired of the scent like I usually do with others. By the time I finished the bottle, I still found the scent pleasant.
On occasion, I even used it on my face with no irritation what so ever except that the scent was very strong, I felt like I could taste it. Yuck. When I did use it on my face it cleansed my face very well, removed my makeup, and left my skin soft. Sidenote an old friend from high school always used the pink version on her face as her daily face wash up into her 30s and she had beautiful skin.
It is not meant for the face so I cannot complain and even though it did not cause me any irritation I am not sure if the fragrance would be too irritating to the skin for others.
I did feel like it wrapped my skin in moisture but I think this formula may just be too rich for me personally for summer time. I might prefer this more in the winter when I want something more moisturizing and softening to the skin.
I have read reviews for the other formulas and saw comments that they felt a film on their skin. I really think this is the lotion. I never felt like there was a heavy residue left on my skin but I did feel like there was a layer of moisture that dries down and sinks into the skin leaving it soft.
The blue ribbons are the moisturizing cream/lotion, I believe, and it really did remind me a lot of regular lotion. Once in a while, my shower did have spots of blue cream from where it did not dissolve like the body wash would but it easily washed away.
