If you have a taste for rather unusual scents and typically steer clear of overly floral and sticky sweet smells, this might be a floral you could love. The jasmine is strong and unashamed in a way – wild? The honey is deep and the overall smell is definitely not sweet. I’d say it is sexy.
For someone who loves herbal, grassy, minty and citrusy shower gels, this is one of the few florals I love with a passion.
You can get it from time to time in the Lush kitchen.
Can I just say Lush – in my opinion – have nothing but uninteresting shower gels in shops these days? The only one I trully still like is Dirty Springwash. All the other interesting scents they discontinued…

I love the scent of this product more than I know how to express in words (imagine a high-pitched squealing of glee). I don’t find it sickly-sweet at all, which is what turns me off a lot of the honey/floral products, but looking at the other reviews, that’s a very subjective feeling. I’m guessing if you already like jasmine scents, you’ll love this one, though.
My BFF and I both use it, and have noticed that it sort of lingers afterward, especially in your fingernails. We laughed over having both caught ourselves sniffing our fingers at work, to inhale the yummy scent – then realizing how gross that probably looked!
Wish it was priced better – I would own vats of it.

is it just me or is there anyone else thinking it smells like granma?
too honeyish for me, sorry lush, but this was a disappointment 🙁

A love it or hate it scent, rich, heady, honeyed jasmine. To me, this is nostalgia of summer nights and the scent of my grandmothers garden wafting in through the window as we slept on floor mats to keep cool. I hated this the first time I smelled it as a teenager in the store. It is VERY strong in the bottle. Now, as a frugal (ish) adult, that is a massive plus for me as a little goes a long way in the shower and I can go without perfume after using this.
It works fairly well as a shampoo every now and then as well, the honey is quite moisturising. Of course, the smell is even more potent when its in the hair, so I don’t use it often to avoid offending people who don’t like jasmine (I loathe it when people have chemically super sweet scents on, so I understand how a smell can offend)
Consistency is perfect, not too runny, not too thick. Lathers up fairly well, not an enormous amount, but not a pittance either.
This retails for $32.50 for 500g in Australia… Rather expensive for a shower gel but you have to pick your poison sometimes. I’m happy to shell out for something with such a concentrated smell and good lather, as it’s akin to perfume for me. I will be buying another bottle soon as I’ve heard rumors its going to be discontinued.

I think you either love Jasmine or hate it. Yes it does have a strong smell and the trouble with Jasmine, is it can smell a bit ‘funky’ in large doses. I personally love the smell of this gel and love how the Jasmine warms up in the shower with hot water. I can see that, for some, it could be too strong. My advice is to go in-store at Lush and not to order on line for a first purchase, if possible.

Not moisturizing, and has a strong tobacco/cigarette butt smell (to me).

I was very disappointed with moisturizer I bought and was going to give up on LUSH forever until a clerk suggested this. This is my favorite LUSH product alongside Lust. Flying Fox smells identical to their Lust perfume by the way, so if you like that smell definitely give this a shot and vise-versa.
Believe the hype my friends, the smell is STRONG. It’s a strong, sensous combination of Jasmine and honeysuckle with a hint of rose, a scent profile I absolutely adore. I usually don’t bother with scented gels because the scent usually wears off 5 minutes after I step out of the shower. This is not like that. The smell will stay on your skin for HOURS, not exaggerating here. I love how silky it feels on my skin and it is very therapeutic to just stand in the shower breathing the smell in. It’s a small session of aromatherapy I appreciate during my morning commute.
My biggest problem with this product is the price. As with all LUSH products, you get very little for the amount you pay; the 100m bottle is $9.99, and if you use this daily it will hardly last, especially considering this gel doesn’t lather well. I rarely fall in love with a scent like I did with this one so I buy the bigger bottle, but if you’re trying it out definitely grab the smaller bottle first. I know a lot of people think the smell is too strong, so also try to test it at the Lush store before making a purchase.

I received this as a gift and realized I’d been missing out! I love jasmine and sweet scents so this was great for me. I use it as a bubble bath and shower gel. The smell lingers around the house. I have just ran and I will purchase the largest one next!
Update: I purchase this on a regular basis but buy the largest bottle to save money. Love it for a luxury wash or bath

Oh boy, I really hate the smell of this. It has a pungent jasmine scent, which together with the honey and the other ingredients creates a smell of burnt rubber and cat pee. I find it quite headache-inducing, and the fact that it stays on the skin means I will be handing my small bottle to someone less sensitive of smells. As a shower gel this works nicely, just like all the other Lush shower gels I’ve tried, and I really would have appreciated the easy consistency of this (not too thin, not too thick, no need to shake), but the smell is overpowering and simply bad. It’s a shame both of the honey-based Lush shower gels are so far from an easily approached, traditional honey scent, such as a mild honey-and-lemon scent.

I love Lush because they offer natural, high quality products and I have come to love lots of them. This is an exception, I will never buy this product again. The packaging is great and the product was affordable but oh my god, the smell!
Something about this smell makes me so nauseous. To me it doesen’t smell fresh at all, it smells gross, some kind of overly sweet flowers (and strong too). I can’t really describe it but I had to give this product away. The smell made me feel physically sick and just thinking about it makes me cringe.
Everybody has different tastes but for me, I just wouldn’t buy it ever again. Make sure you smell it before you buy it!
