Bought in Stockholm, Sweden in November 2016. Was in a hurry and it wasn’t until later I red on the package that it (still) contains plastic beads. Soo bad for the environment. I was so disappointed. I like the product but the bottle is very firm and it is hard to get anything out of it. I will not repurchase because of the plastic beads. Bad, bad, bad

I had high hopes for this “prestige” body wash, but was super disappointed.
I did not like the scent at all. and it lingered in a disgusting way.
the actual wash also lingered on my body with a filmy feeling. it definitely did not give me a clean feeling … and definitely did not foam up!!! it was neither fabulous nor foaming!
I would not recommend. it irritated my skin, not hydrating, and was not at all worth the price

This is a nice, moisturizing and scrubbing body wash with lactic and citrus acids. Smells like bananas and makes my skin soft. I got this at TJ Maxx for half the normal price and it comes in a giant bottle. Bonus – Bliss doesn’t test on animals.
Edit: those little plastic beads are terrible for the environment and have now been banned. I guess that’s why this was so cheap – Bliss must have been trying to get rid of their stock. This went straight in the trash.

Bliss Labs is definitely a hit or miss brand for me. When their products are good, they’re great. When they’re bad, they’re truly awful. This body wash falls into the awful category for me.
I got this at Marshalls a few months back. I’ve always been enamored with Bliss Labs products for years because they’re from the fancy schmancy spa that I’ll likely never visit and, admittedly, I’m taken in by their puns. Anyhow, I grabbed this wash because it was cheap ($10 compared to its retail price of $20) and because it contains lactic and citric acids. These acids generally work well on my skin and since I have some discoloration and rough patches on my body, I hoped this would help eliminate them. I know this body wash is a spin off of their Fabulous Foaming Face Wash which is supposedly great but if this body wash’s performance is any indication of how that cleanser works, I’m very glad I never tried it.
First off, this smells boring. It doesn’t smell good and it doesn’t smell bad. If I had to pick a scent, I’d say it smells a bit medicinal. I don’t always need a body wash to smell great as I apply lotion or oil after a shower anyway but some attempt at a nice scent would be nice. I also didn’t find this terribly moisturizing or that great of an exfoliater. I saw no difference in the rough patches (despite the fact that I use either an Italy towel or my trusty Salux cloth which are both pretty scrubby on their own). Worse yet, I began to develop the dreaded “chicken skin” (ie keratosis pilaris) on my thighs after using this wash. I need additional skin problems like I need an extra year of student loan payments so I stopped using this once I figured out it was the cause of my bumpy thighs. The keratosis pilaris hasn’t cleared up completely since I stopped using this wash (I’m now starting a regimen of applying Amlactin twice a day to help) but it has decreased and I’m not seeing any new patches pop up which just affirms this body wash is the culprit.
I’m a bit perplexed as to why this doesn’t work for me as my skin isn’t sensitive and I’ve applied some high concentrate peels to my face with no adverse effects but this is a total bust for me. I like to think I can find the silver lining in all products, even the disappointing ones, but I’m having trouble finding one for this particular product. There’s nothing amazing about it and even though I got it for half off, it’s still pretty worthless. I’ll likely toss the bottle because I simply can’t afford to keep using something that causes additional skin problems. If you do decide to buy this, I suggest doing a patch test and then limiting your usage to see if you have a weird reaction. If you see anything odd, stop using it immediately.
