I love the smell of this stuff! It does smell very close to the bath and body works version but to me not a complete dupe. Smells refreshing but not lingering on the skin so to keep the smell the lotion of the same scent may have to be used to layer. Very cheap around 2$ a bottle. Good lather for a cheap brand especially when used with a loofa. I have normal to dry skin and while this cleans my skin well (even under my arm pits deodorant and all) it dosnt seem to strip my skin bone dry. I dont have sensitive skin but I’ve never had a reaction from it. Texture is like any other gel/clear type of bodywash not overly runny but not slimy. Have repurchased several times becuase its a really good soap if you’re on a budget.

Great for everyday. Honestly to me, it smells EXACTLY like B&BW’s version. It’s not my favorite, but it’s not bad. Great, inexpensive body wash. 🙂 I preffer the Dove Cool Moistures scent to be honest if scent is what you’re wanting. It’s a happy medium between the Suave and B&BWs and not as overly sweet.

I was reallllly low on my BBW Cucumber Melon body wash and did not feel like driving 30 minutes to the mall for more, SO, I decided to try this brand instead to hold me over until I go to the mall. I figured..Hey, its only $3 wasted if I hate it..BUT..I really really like it! It smells really good, very similar to the BBW (Dont get me wrong..Im still a true BBW user and lover) doesnt dry my skin out, and lathers up really well!! It also makes my bathroom smell very yummy 🙂 Its going to be a great in-expensive body wash for the spring and summer!!

I just don’t have any luck with Suave body washes. None of the ones I’ve tried so far smell very good to me, and Cucumber Melon is no exception. I will say this one smells better to me than Ocean Breeze, but it still has a rubber/plastic fragrance note that I do not like. Fortunately the scent does not linger after I leave the shower, and that is the only reason I finished the bottle instead of disposing it right away like some of Suave’s other body washes.

I am a fan of Suave Body Wash (esp. the Sweet Pea fragrance) and appreciate that Suave washes and lotions do not irritate the skin like so many other brands, but I tried this one for the first time yesterday and have to agree this smells more like plastic than anything else. I used it again today and the smell does not improve with use. Definitely would purchase another scent vs. this one in the future.

I love it! I was never big on Suave body wash or shampoo but I bought this a few weeks ago and it really gives B&BW a run for their money! I love how it makes me feel CLEAN and not greasy still when I get out of the shower. Next I’m going to buy the Vanilla Brown Sugar.. mmmmmm! I like to rotate smells 🙂

Love it! Whoever mentioned addiction to this stuff was right! Great scent, wakes you up in the morning.

I bought this b/c BBworks isn’t in my budget this month. The smell is nice and it makes my skin feel soft. I also like that the scent doesn’t last long so it doesn’t clash with my perfume. I will buy again-especially at that price.

Bought this along with the Shampoo, Conditioner and Lotion and also a body spray by Body Fantasies. Suave says they have a body scrub but I couldn’t find it so I substituted sea salt and some of the gel to make a scrub. I have always ‘complained’ about the heavily perfumed shampoos/conditioners competing with my cologne and saw this as a way (a very inexpensive way!) to solve the problem.
I use it as a shave gel also and even though I’m a 40-something MMM – with the lotion I don’t have a dryness problem in the summer (winter may be a different story)
The smell is clean and refreshing – and the first night I used it my DH slept with his nose buried in my hair (I think he likes the smell – LOL) I would recommend the matching pieces (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) – and at under $10 for all of them you can’t go wrong.
I am actually thinking of putting these (and other scents) in my guest bath in pretty bottles – my guests can feel pampered and I haven’t spent a fortune.
