I agree with the last reviewer space cow girl about this soap ! I had bought a nice set of this soaps from a Chinese department store in Chinatown & I liked how each bar of soap was beautiful wrapped in green paper & was nicely scented with jasmine & I believe with sandlewood also! The fragrance was light and airy & very clean & fresh I just thought about this soap Bc I was having a cup of jasmine tea today! ! LOL however I did believe that this soap was a bit drying on my skin & I’m glad that the fragrance of dissipated fast Bc I don’t like to use perfumed products on my sensitive skin Bc I get rashes! But ultimately I don’t think I would repurchase it again Bc I try to stay away from fragrance & im not sure if this soap is made in China in which I definitely would not buy Bc stuff made in China is suspect?! LOL!

These soaps are beyond cheap (i’ve seen them as low as about $.50 a bar), and beautifully packaged. They clean well, but can be extremely drying. I can’t use them without covering my hands with lotion after. I would NEVER use this on my body or face. The scents are too strong and fake smelling for me. The jasmine scents doesn’t really smell like jasmine at all. It’s very perfumey and soapy smelling. Almost cloying. The stamping on the soap is very pretty but tends to trap grime and make the soap look dirty fast. Also, the bar begins to get cracks in its surface. I give it 3 lippies because it’s so economical, does what it’s supposed to, and looks beautiful in the wrapper. However, I’ll stick to more moisturizing soaps (see my review for Clearly natural soaps).

This is a really nice soap with the light and heavenly scent one associates with jasmine tea served in Chinese restaurants. The elaborate green floral paper packaging with its gold seal makes it seem like a luxury product despite the low price. The soap itself cleans very well without being drying. They also make great long-lasting sachets for drawers and closets.

I will buy this until the day I die! This soap has the most beautiful jasmine scent, one that i never grow tired of. The packaging is beautiful, and I paid 79 cents for this at my local Akin’s Natural Market. I use it every time I shower, and I also use it to shave. The scent, however, is the reason I will always continue to buy this product. A true A+ product, Bee and Flower!!!

Let me first say that the packaging on all Bee and Flower soaps is beautiful, and the price is very reasonable.
However, the jasmine fragrance is very very VERY weak. Also, this soap dried out my hands horribly. I won’t be buying it again. For a more stimulating, non-drying, and jasmine-scented shower experience, I prefer Lush’s Flying Fox shower gel.
As a side note, two bars of the sandalwood soap came with the jasmine soap but I haven’t used them knowing what they would do to my hands. I have them in my closet, but the strong sandalwood is starting to bug me. They’re going straight into the trash bin. (When I have time.)
