What else is there to say other than it’s just plain good soap? I’ve used just about every grocery & drug store brand of fragrance-free soap there is and they’re pretty much all the same. But I prefer to buy from Dr. Bronner because the Bronner family are the most ethical business owners on the planet. They make sure everyone in the process, including their suppliers, are paid well; they pay all costs for their employee’s insurance plans. They use organic and non-gmo products for everything that these certifications are possible to certify. They make sure their impact on the planet is not only minimal, but beneficial. They also relentlessly advocate for good causes. And the packaging is 100% recyclable. I will ALWAYS have some form of this soap in my home, and probably multiple variations at that. But the Baby unscented bar is my absolute favorite because I honestly don’t like fragrance and a bar of soap never goes bad.
But putting aside how awesome I think the Bronner family is, this is just a basic, good-working plain bar of soap. No magic is happening here, other than getting clean, and cleanliness is next to godliness. I have found the hardness of my water makes a bigger impact over whatever soap I use to wash with, and right now my home has a bad-*ss water softening system on it, so everything I use rinses clean and doesn’t dry out my skin. When I lived in a home with a chlorinated municipal water supply, it left a slight residue behind and dried my skin out.
So the moral of this soap’s story? We are ALL-ONE and buying this soap supports a super ethical family who isn’t part of the 1% just selling soap to make money. This soap can also be used to wash everything needing washing, so it’s a good thing to have around in case the zombie apocalypse happens.

I have been using dr bronner’ soap for OVER A DECADE!!! I don’t want to use any other facial wash,I’m using tea tree scent all the time but I also love in levender,baby mild, rose too,I love liquid and bar soap both but I’m using bar soap all the time cause it kind of last longer to liquid.

I use this bar soap to wash my hands. I have tried the liquid version and the bar soap is less drying. I have a rare form of psoriasis on my hands and for years was dealing with constant flares, day in, day out. I researched soaps and came across pure castile soap, and decided to give Dr. Bronner’s a try. I wanted to try a fragrance-free version and I was happy to see they have one.
I absolutely love this soap for hand washing! It lathers very well and seems gentle compared to all the fake soaps (detergents) out there on the market. The soap is rather expensive but knowing how Dr. Bronner’s company uses Organic ingredients and is Fair-Trade certified, I can understand the cost.
I am very happy with Dr. Bronner’s soaps. This Baby Mild version is just wonderful! I never use any other soap to wash my hands anymore. I do use the Tea Tree bar soap for showering, but that is the only other soap I use that touches my hands.
FYI when I use the restroom at other places than my home I use hand sanitizer (the alcohol kind) instead of using soap and water because it’s just not practical to take a bar of soap with me everywhere I go.
I’d be afraid of the liquid soap spilling in my purse, hence I use the hand sanitizer instead.
