Other reviews suggested that this was THE Pirates of the Caribbean type scent, a Put-You-There fragrance that was like riding a musty water ride in the dark in a theme park. I love that idea as I have happy memories of such things and would love to have the option for a sniff of that on a cold boring winter work day. This didn’t deliver though. What I get is dry leather, chlorine and copy machine toner ozone, you know that smell when you’ve been running the copy machine non-stop for an hour? that smell. and then there’s a perfumey component that takes it away from a Dark Ride. There’s not enough musty water to even qualify, really, as a water ride. The mustiness is entirely in the leather and I have that in SOS Russian Leather for far far cheaper. So the end result in this is surplus store leather and ozone. It’s not bad, but I’m pretty disappointed.
