This is a somewhat interesting olfactory experience whenever I sniff it, but what remains in my memory are the more experimental bits – which I don’t necessarily find attractive.
White Fire performs differenly on my skin depending on how much I dab from my sample. With one dab, I get something that is far from the name suggests to me. What I get is a light – very light- aquatic jasmine. Aqua notes are more ethereal and watery than having strong sea associations. Sillage is soft, longetivity short, the overall impression nothing very memorable.
More dabs, and I get more “fire” but this is a very clean woody base. It starts smelling more industrial if I dab more and I enjoy it but would not wear this as my fragrance. Sadly, the drydown is a sheer, flat amber on me that goes against the grain of this fragrance.
I had high hopes about White Fire but I’m not very impressed.
