‘Mouth watering’ – is one way of describing this fragrance. Just the right ‘tartness’ and authentic sweetness to make you almost forget it’s not edible!
This is a VAST improvement upon the original fragrance which had the least lasting power out of any Demeter I’ve purchased, something close to 60 seconds!
Sprayed over the Watermelon Lollipop’ massage oil (which works equally well on its own in terms of fragrance and longevity) you can get extra silage from this, although again we are only speaking in terms of 15-30 minutes, after which you have to smell closely to catch any. This is good for those who like to keep their fragrance close to the skin. If you’re hoping to get ‘Mmm’s and ahhh’s from people passing you by, I hate to disappoint by saying it is unlikely to happen. I should know, I tried it many a time and the throw is not good! ‘Caramel’ PMU can achieve that but I’ll write up about that in a separate review.
I have to stress that the majority of Demeter’s gourmand fragrances turn rancid on my skin immediately, coming off like burnt acrylic. Only a handful don’t do that and this is one of them.
A mouthwatering tangy and fun fragrance that smells 100% true to its namesake. Just don’t expect it to last long on your skin….

This is a nice sweet scent for summer that smells just like it sounds–a sweet candy watermelon.
Doubt if I’d wear it year-round because of its sweetness (don’t usually like food scents), but its nice for summer or maybe in the dead of winter.
