I have been on Makeupalley since 2004 and as of this review i have reached a mile stone. 500 reviews!!! And all of them are reviews of fragrances. I never thought in 2004 i would still be into fragrance but i am and i am happy to be an active member of Makeupalley.
So lets get to my 500th review. I’ve been on a marathon of reviewing Tommy Bahama fragrances and now its Very Cools turn to get reviewed. Tommy Bahama fragrances are all very similar yet each one is quite different. Tommy Bahama fragrances are so bright and they make you happy to smell. They are all soft, unoffensive fragrances but they last a long time and go through development. Very Cool starts off with a blast of nectarine, clementine and tangerine. Tangerine is a basenote and is a nice basenote to have as you dont loose any of the fruitiness of the perfume. Awesome notes for all three to be in a fragrance. It has a note of cactus flower too. I cant say as i’ve ever smelled cactus flowers but i detect something floral and kind of dry so it has to be the cactus flower. The other floral note is hibiscus which rounds out the fragrance. I guess i’ll have to wait another 19 years before i hit 1000 reveiws. I’ll probably be dead by then but hopefully my reviews will continue to be around and to inspire a love of fragrance.
