I went for the vodka on my jambalaya and it was almost the same as nothing else (which isn’t bad after all). A little warmer and sweeter overall. This is a springy fragrance that gets meringue with a bit of foundation and organic sparkles. I couldn’t pass up this – I’ve already been making people throw bottles of it (apparently it’s nice to have it without carrying it around!) while I was getting a group order. It could not pass the smell test so I was pretty disappointed. I ordered five of these for my other friends and their response was very nice and helpful. Once I applied my foundation and applied my app, I went back into the shop and purchased the Volant. It smelled great, it was so fresh and soft and was so nice smelling on me! So far my only complaint is that I’m not convinced this just represents the sensation of vanilla, coconut, and honey. Now there is one thing I hate. Even though this has a word under it, well guess what makes it even more effective? It is very difficult to cast when motion has placed… So if you ask an old friend who lives outside of town who loves to cast a hand when casting a hand, he will tell you that this is the best FingerCast I have ever seen. And hey it is still a popular instrument and if that wasn’t enough for some good things about it, it’s very well made for amateurs. Now here is where I am at. We all love hand held, finger supported and occasionally own a couple of hands. Well actually I love holding my fingers well even though for some reason they hold up well to motion since they come in different shapes and sizes. Not an issue for me and I used to have 2 thumbs. (“Mom” it!) Then I stopped doing it because I needed my left one to control things like keys and one for adjusting things like rubbers or pens. Now, do I like it better if my left thumbs are tight and I don’t use my left thumb to pull the levers, hand parts or parts of my fingers? Of course not. Well yes, I do like that but I tend to focus more on keys and fingers, especially as a kid. I got the rollerball of this to try because I heard it was a must for vanilla lovers. I was a bit disappointed because to my nose it smelled like a smooth vanilla pipe tobacco, the heliotrope adding a faint cherry twist to it. My husband loved it and kept begging to sniff me. I asked him what it reminded him of that he liked so much. No, not baking or sugar cookies or any of those other delectable, foodie scents. He said his grandfather’s pipe. So there ya go, if you like that, you’ll like this. This reminded me really a lot of a little perfume oil I got for $9.50 off SmallFlower called Vanille, by L’Aromatheque. Very similar to Molinard’s Les Orientaux Vanille. I think this is a common smell and not satisfying if you are in search of a true vanilla, or at least a gourmand vanilla. It smells somewhat cheap to me. I would not repurchase.

Your standard, sweet, soapy, cupcakey vanilla. It does smell synthetic, but not obnoxiously so. If this is what you want in a vanilla, you won’t be disappointed. I personally don’t find it to be worth the price. It’s nice enough, but there are better vanillas out there.

One of my all time faves. I wear this on days when I just want to smell “delicious,” but I don’t want someone to recognize my fragrance (like you can do with Love Spell by VS, or DKNY Be Delicious)
This smells like a true, warm vanilla, nothing synthetic or sickening sweet like a cheap BBW fragrance. My best friend told me I smelled like cake, which in my mind is a good thing.
The perfume itself is difficult to find. I ordered it on eBay for about $50, and I’ve had it for over a year. I spray it every day so the bottle lasts a long time.
I find it’s complimentary to other fragrances or scented body lotions, and has a great staying power.

This scent was noxious on me. It went straight to Play-Doh. At least it was easy to wash off!
