Launched in 2003. Top notes are orange, banana and whipped cream; middle notes are banana leaf and clover; base notes are vanilla and white rum.
A boozy vanilla with a distinctive tropical accord. The banana ( smells like banana taffy), fades in about 15 minutes and the final dry down on me is a tropical vanilla. It is very similar to Vanille Apricot, you definitely would not need both and like most CSP’s it longevity is not good. It lasts around 2-3 hours tops and the last 2 hours all I get is vanilla. Zero sophistication and I don’t think it was ever intended to be anything more than a fun, foody fragrance.. If you like vanillas you may want to try it. If you don’t, pass on it because after the first 30 minutes all you get is vanilla with a hint of a tropical rum note.

This is one of my favourite, sweet perfumes! I am a big fan of both vanilla and banana, so this is right up my alley. I like to apply it to the insides of my elbows, my wrists, my chest/neck, and a light misting into my hair (sounds like a lot, but these are tiny sprays!). The scent is very subtle and light – it lasts well into the day. I find that it clings especially well to my hair and to my clothing. My body chemistry works well with this scent – it definitely fades more into a vanilla but a very lovely one. Bonus – this is one of my fiancée’s favourite perfumes on me – he knows that when I wear, it’s usually business time! Ha! 😉
My one gripe is that my latest bottle has a bit of a dud nozzle/spray top. It works well about 65% of the time, though – other times I just need to be a bit patient with it!
Will continue to repurchase!

First I received a complimentary sample of it from luckyscent with my purchase (like 2 years ago). I was thrilled because: since I was a child, I LOVE bananas and anything banana-flavored is adored by me. I just never even thought of banana-scented perfume until I received my CsP sample from luckyscent. When I tried my sample the first thing I thought… it just smells sooo banana!!! Then I thought to myself, there are so many other tropical-scented bath and body/fragrance products… like coconut, mango, guava… why not my favorite of them all, banana? So I purchased my first bottle of this… I was wondering how it does when it’s sprayed on my skin… and It does really well! I love it! I’m on my second bottle now, but let me just tell You how it works on my skin. Today I applied it at 6 o’clock in the morning. First I got a banana-milkshake whiff of it. Then it quickly developed into this creamy, milky, banana fragrance, with just a hit of orange… It’s about 9:30am right now, and I can still smell it really well. It’s definitely more vanilla now, with a touch of banana. I’m lovin it very much, very yummi. One thing I have to say, if You’re not banana lover. DO NOT buy this product. But someone like me, a huge banana fan, will enjoy this very much!!!

This smells exactly like a homemade banana smoothie. It’s so mouthwatering and realistic that it makes me want to lick my own skin.
Once the banana fades (and it does fade in about 15 minutes, give or take), you’ll be left with a powdery vanilla like Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace.
The steel can is the sort of container you’d expect of a hairstyling mousse, not a perfume, but if you can get past that, this fragrance would be worth having, if only because it’s so yummy and lighthearted.

This is my C A N D Y fix. As a banana-hater, loving this fragrance confirms that it is actually about vanilla. Admittedly, the creamy custard opening may have a single banana slice on top, but there is absolutely none of that Friday’s-half-eaten-banana-found-Monday stench I loathe. One lippie off for floating away fom me so quickly, and another for not having adjusted the price accordingly.

Smells very similar to Vanille Abricot, only with a banana scent. Very sweet. Not quite ast strong as the Vanille Abricot in my opinion. It has an over-ripe banana and vanilla scent. Not bad, just can’t really wear it to work and such. Good beach fragrance. Reminds me of suntan lotion.

I really don’t like this CSP fragrance. Although the banana eventually fades away and all you’re left with is vanilla, I think the banana in the opening is too strong. It reminds me of banana laffy taffy which is not what I want to smell like. I love CSP but this is one of my least favorites.

Smells wonderful at first, but if you have tricky chemistry (like me) you are left with a typical musky, sandalwoody/nothing-like-vanilla-or-banana smell after a few minutes. Not unpleasant but not what I wanted. I really wanted this one to work and it didn’t!

Chemistry , Chemistry, Chemistry…it all comes down to body chemistry.
Alot of people claimd this smells like Bananas and cream…vanilla with sweet banana but on me it came out like SUNBLOCK!!! VERY “beachy” scent; as if I srtolled off a tropical resort’s beach and went straight to dinner without washign off my sunblock. Its not a bad scent, just not perfumey at all.
I even tried layering it over a coconut one I have and that just made it pure Hawaiian tropic lol. Fun maybe for vacation but defiently not an everyday scent for me.
The other bad news: like so many other CSP scents, it has very little staying power!!! And for the price it should LAST!!! I got this in a swap but not a keeper for me. I’ve worn it twice and just can’t love it.
For the staying power you’re better off with
DEMETER BANANA FLAMBEE. It’s a cologne spray so doesn’t last that long but it is about the same amount of time as this one and MUCH cheaper-you can get it for as low as $10 for 4 ounces.

According to Sephora, first fragrance note is orange. Whaa?
I don’t know where is the orange but its nowhere to be found(or smelled). It smells like banana cream to me. After first hour or so, banana dissapears and I can only smell vanilla. This is fairly subtle so even if you spray few times noone will run out the room screaming. I sprayed only once on my wrist and could still detect vanilla/banana aroma gently waffing from my wrist. As the other reviewers have noted, this is a linear fragrance, with nothing complex about it. None the less I did like it.I think I would like to add this perfume to my rotation but not sure if I’m willing to pay outrageous price for that ugly metal can. My coworker told me I smelled like banana cream pie which is just fine with me!
