First off let me say that perfume works differently with each person so what smells horrible on me may smell wonderful on you! But I disliked this on me. I tried it at sephora and wore it all day. It immediately smelled like bug spray for two hours then dried down into a musky bug spray smell. I really wanted to like this. The staying power is great though! I was hoping it would wear off quickly since I disliked it on me but I could still faintly smell it on my wrists after I took a shower.

I bought this perfume after reading some reviews on here. I love love love vanilla perfumes. I was in the market for something that just wasn’t vanilla. Well I tried this and loved it. Yes, it does smell like Lavender at first but after 15 minutes the vanilla kicks in and its a great mix! This is soft and girly. These products also are heathly ! Read the label! NO headaches here! ALL Natural baby!

I bought this from QVC, when they had a small affordable roll-on that wasn’t a huge financial commitment. Since I’m allergic to anything synthetic, I have used lavender oils and cake perfume from a major lavender farm that markets its products. There’s not much lasting power with those and they’re not inexpensive. So I thought I would try the Lavanila. I got used to it, it was okay, I enjoyed the mix of lavender and vanilla. But one day I was being introduced to someone new to our company, and she starting sneezing. It was so embarrassing. It had to be the perfume. So I don’t use it; it is cloyingly sweet and over time I would have developed my usual allergic reaction, since it does seem to have something synthetic in it. Save your money or spend it at a lavender farm if you have allergies and reactions to fragrances, or don’t like sweet perfumes.

Picked this up in the roll-on at Sephora. Did not like the scent in the bottle at all, I applied it in store and wore it while I shopped. At first all I could smell was strong lavender but after it dried (10-15 minutes) the vanilla was really noticeable on me and really balanced out the lavender and strong florals. As it wore on it becomes even more vanilla based on me, after a few hours I can barely smell anything but the vanilla. It’s a very soft, light scent. I have had a few people smell it on me and they all really liked it on me but hated it in the bottle. My cousin even thought I was lying about what perfume I was wearing. Would repurchase. I recommend trying it out before you buy.

This scent was part of a 4 piece Lavanila set that I received for Christmas. Not only was this the worst scent of the kit, but one of the worst scents I have ever smelled. I could not smell any vanilla in this, just an overwhelming, cheap, cloying lavender scent unlike any lavendar I have ever smelled. Lavender is not my favorite scent to begin with, but I have tried many lavender scents that are much better, or at least much more wearable than this is.

lavender on steriods! i couldn’t even smell the vanilla. pure, overdose of lavender. if you REALLY love lavender, then it’s perfect for you.

This was my least favorite from the rollerball set that I purchased at Sephora. That does not mean that I do not like it…it is a nice relaxing fragrance. I never wear this during the day…it is more of a relaxing before bed smell. My favorite is vanilla coconut : )

I have a BIG problem w/companies who claim their products are all “natural” when they are not. Anyone who knows anything about natural perfumery & natural scents can tell right away that there are indeed synthetic fragrances in these Lavanila scents. They do leave a lot of nasty things out & they are overall better for you, imo, than most of what’s out there but they are NOT ALL NATURAL! On Sephora’s website it states they use zero synthetic fragrances so I went to the Lavanila website & this is the verbage they use: “Botanical fragrance blend…blend of pure essential oils, nature identical oils, botanically derived aromas.” They do not state that they don’t use synthetic fragrances. That’s because they do. Some may not care that much but it is really misleading to the average consumer.

I actually have not purchased this, but tried it on 2 different times at Sephora. I happened to apply it in the morning to give myself time to get used to it and see how the scent would smell on me so I could decide if I wanted ot buy a bottle. I hated it both times. To me, this stuff smells like Carpet Fresh. And it smelled like Carpet Fresh both times I applied it. I found the scent to be harsh and very strong. It just wasn’t for me.
