Vanilla Lace is my HG scent. Hands down, I love this so much. I’m a totally foodie perfume wearer, I crave anything that smells like I could eat it. And if it smells like vanilla, more the better!
Vanilla Lace smells like a sweet vanilla should. I compare it to the original formula of the vanilla oil that the Body Shop released in the 90s. If you like real vanilla perfume (no synthetic vanilla) then you will love Vanilla Lace. I’ve tried so many perfumes to get that *vanilla foodie* gorgeous PERFECT scent and never found it. I’ve spent sooo much money on perfumes from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, Demeter, L’Occitane, etc and they never deliver on a perfect vanilla scent. As in they just can’t create a perfect vanilla, whereas Victoria’s Secret has somehow managed to do it.

Now to the cons. Well the mist leaves a subtle sweetness on your skin, which I love, but you need to reapply throughout the day to maintain a strong vanilla. Some people don’t like doing this, but I love spritzing myself throughout the day with this vanilla mist. I’ve had women chase me down the street asking me what perfume I’m wearing because I always smell good. When you first use the bottle, it does have a strange alcohol scent going on for a moment (which then settles). But that’s the first few sprays and then the rest of the bottle is fine. I’ve found that happens with the all the mists I have used from Victoria’s Secret.
The price is fantastic and the bottle is cute.

I love Vanilla Lace. It became one of my favorite fragrances out there. This is coming from someone who has a lot of perfumes, as opposed to body splashes. However, this one is is my go-to body spray, along with maybe two other scents. It is so versatile…I never get tired of it, whether I’m just wearing it around the house or out on a date. My significant other loves it on me, and he had an “oh my God, this smells good” reaction when he smelled the matching lotion. It lasts long for a body spray, especially compared to other Victoria’s Secret fragrances. It’s not a sickening sweet vanilla, nor is it overly foody. However, it has that “cozy,” warm, by the campfire feel to it (then I think of toasting marshmallows!) I love it all year around and has great lasting power. I hope they never discontinue it.

This is one of the better vanilla smells out there in my opinion. It does have a little bit of an alcohol smell when you spray it (as someone mentioned) but you do not smell that at all when it dries down. It smells really pretty and nice when it dries down. I get compliments on this-men really like it. It is not the exact vanilla I am looking for (I can never seem to find what I really want it to smell like), but it smells really, really good. I have bought this several times.

A nice vanilla scent. A little different than the everyday vanilla scent you can pick up in the drugstores which makes it nice. It is more grown up does not smell like a teenage girl.

I tried this out because I’m trying to get more into wearing scents. I love vanilla, so I tried this based on the reviews. The first spray made me wince because there was a strong whiff of alcohol..kinda like rum. I wash’t too impressed! But that quickly faded to be replaced by a warm, slightly burnt, buttery vanilla scent. Smells delicious and the men seem to agree 🙂 VS has plenty of sales so I stocked up on another two bottles. Pretty sure I’m set for the year! The only problem is the scent doesn’t last longer than 2-3 hours, but it’s just a spray, so can’t fault it too much! Try it 😀

When I first sprayed this, I thought it smelled too much like alcohol. I also think it’s a tad bit overpriced-but I must say, I won’t stop buying this. I went out with a spritz of this on and I was complimented by FIVE different guys. Never once have I been complimented by a boy on how I smell and I was complimented FIVE times in ONE night. So needless to say, I will be repurchasing.

I have been using this scent for years and I love it. It smells so warm and comforting but sexy at the same time. Its hard to describe but it just smells so good. Kind of like fresh cake. I pair it with the body mist. I would reccomend this scent to anyone. For a while they discontinued it and I’m so glad they brought it back!
If you like vanilla, you might also like the Secret Cravings scent which is vanilla and black currant. I switched to it for a while but now I’m back to Vanilla Lace 😀

This has to be my favorite vanilla scent ever. It reminds me of my grandma because she had a bottle of this in her bathroom for years. I love the musk in it, I think it really adds something extra. I have the lotion as well. The body spray is perfect if you want something really light, maybe more of summertime scent. Highly recommend if you like vanilla or sweet scents, this is the only scent at VS that I’m really crazy about.

I LOVE Vanilla Lace! I’m a huge fan of all vanilla scents. Super sweet or not sweet at all, if it’s vanilla I’ll like it. This one is definitely one of my top 5 favorite scents of all time though. It is a super sweet scent however, and smells like cake/cookies/baked goods. If you smell it straight out of the bottle/spray cap it is very strong and smells like alcohol, so before deciding if you like it or not definitely spray it on you or something because it does not smell like alcohol after being sprayed! If you are a sweet gourmand vanilla lover, I definitely recommend Vanilla Lace.

I’m generally a fan of vanilla scents and vanilla lace is no exception! I usually love the body shop vanilla mist to bits and this is like the more mature sister. It has the creaminess and warmth of vanilla which is well rounded with musk to give it a sophisticated and bold feel without being too sugary like most vanilla scents. I wear this when I’m feeling particularly outgoing.. It is a comforting, feel-good scent.
