I love Lavanilla Vanilla Grapefruit!
Its light and fresh. Not to sweet. Its warm with a hint if freshness in it. You can smell both the vanilla dn the grapefruit in it and its a yummy combo.
I didn’t find this over powering at all. I teach Yoga and use it around my feet. I think it has some staying power to it.
Glass bottle with a spray.

As a nursing student, I am not allowed to wear perfume. Not only is this fragrance fresh and fantastic smelling, it is natural. I can wear it without bothering patients and I’ve gotten several compliments on it. It does get weak after a few hours, but I don’t mind. Considering the fact that I have to reapply it to get through a day, I wish it was a bit cheaper. However, I’ll bite the bullet on the price of this one because I absolutely love it.

I absolutely love this scent, and so does everyone else who catches a wiff of it. it is kind of a sweet, crisp, citrusy and spicy sent all rolled up into one. the vanilla lends the sweetness, the grafruit a clean citrus smell, and the cedarwood a musky warm smell. i find it wears well. i can still smell it on my skin at the end of the day easily. i have this and the coconut versions. yumm

For a more sophisticated fragrance line, look to Lavanila. The Lavanila founders packed six perfumes with essential oils, active botanicals, and antioxidants. An enchanting aroma with nourishing qualities? Sold. The intoxicating vanilla-based scents are sweet and alluring – exquisite for day or night. Crisp and unique, the scents remain light and never smell synthetic. Apply natural perfumes like Lavanila often, as they do not contain chemicals that seep into skin.

I am a major grapefruit person, and was looking for something light for summer. I got the rollerball version so I could try it out without springing for the bottle. Glad I did, because while this smells great, it only lasts about 3 hours on me. I will use it up, but wouldn’t repurchase as I don’t like spending perfume $$ on fragrance that lasts as long as a body spray.
The top notes have a definite grapefruit scent, the drydown is more vanilla. It isn’t a sickly sweet makes-you-hungry kind of vanilla, though. Pity about the disappearing act this one has.

I received a ton of Vanilla Grapefruit samples from Sephora. I had been curious about this brand for a while now, due to it’s natural approach to products that are usually laden with chemicals.
The notes are: Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lime, Orange, Cedarwood, Heliotrope, Madagascar Vanilla.
Vanilla Grapefruit is an interesting scent. I honestly didn’t expect it to smell the way it does.
I expected more grapefruit out of this. In fact, I don’t get that at all. It’s mostly vanilla and heliotrope (it’s very powdery!) with a very, VERY subtle splash of lime. I do not detect the cedarwood nor the bergamot.
It’s a rather calming scent, in my opinion. I normally detest sweet, vanilla-like scents, but this one doesn’t bother me.
My main problem– this is quite pricy, yet has the worst staying power out of any fragrance I’ve used. There is no alcohol in this fragrance, so perhaps that’s why?
This wears off in the worst way. You know how a fragrance fades, but not completely– meaning there is always some sort of residual scent on the skin? This one, within two hours or so, is COMPLETELY gone. As if it were never applied in the first place!
It’s too bad for that… because I won’t spend $56USD on something I’m going to have to carry around and spray on myself constantly… and I can already tell you that the inexpensive rollerball perfume will be gone in a week.
