As my husband says, it’s like a fruity scent, if that scent was applied with a jolly rancher. That being said, it was oddly not unpleasant, especially for summer. It’s a very young fragrance, almost strawberry shortcake-ish (the doll from the 80s, not the dessert), and it doesn’t last long, but it’s a happy scent.

I’ve been buying Escada SI’s since they came out many years ago and I was instantly drawn to their summery, fruit scents.
I stopped buying then the last few years because I’ve found that they all smell pretty similar when you compare them to each other.
I wasn’t planning on buying a new perfume but it was a snowy spring day:( and I’ve been eager for the warm days of summer so I thought this would put me in the right frame of mind.
Typical fruity, sweet smell, always better a few minutes after it’s been spritzed on.
Their bottle and package are appealing to the eye as they always are.
Happy I got this one:)

I got suckered into this by the cute, fun, Summer-looking bottle. Don’t get me wrong, it is a lovely scent, definitely a Summer scent, pleasant, sweet, not overpowering, kind of classy for a sweet smell. To me classy smells just smells….classy, not sweet, I can’t explain it..but to me this smells sweet, but also classy. To me that me is cool and appealing.
However, the drawbacks. This lasts on me about an hour, max, and that is with a good 4 or 5 sprays. Also, it is kind of pricey; I do not mind paying more for a scent that I love, but I do expect a fragrance of this price point to last more than an hour on me.
And, finally, while I do like this scent, and probably would re-purchase it if it were more affordable, there are scents with many of the similar bases and notes that this scent has, at comparable or more affordable prices, that last longer. I think if you like this, you might be able to find something similar say, from the Mariah Carey perfume line that would be similar, for half or one-third of the price (I do not like promoting celeb fragrances and I am by no means a Mariah fan, but I just wanted to point out that this fragrance is nothing ‘special’, imo, and give some options..).
I think I did read that this is limited edition, so if you really love it, that will be a bummer (not that this is any bearing on the review, just wanted to put that out there).
So, the scent is pleasant, but it is certainly nothing special.
Cute bottle, but the fragrance does not last. I just expect more for a fragrance at this price-point…Would not repurchase. I do not dislike this, just quite disappointed in it’s staying power and lack of ‘uniqueness’…

I really enjoyed the 2014 Escada limited edition fragrance Born In Paradise. It was my first Escada perfume and it smells amazing, like a pina colada. Turquoise Summer isn’t as good for me, but it’s still a nice scent. I can smell strawberry, pineapple, and maybe blackberries. It’s a little too strong and perfume-y at first, but it settles down after a few minutes.
Not my favorite, but not my least favorite either. I’ll use it up.
