This is definitely a gourmand version of Tresor. It’s cute and interesting. A nice take on the classic. Top note is praline; middle notes are damask rose and violet leaf; base notes are vanilla, musk, woody notes and sandalwood. Beautiful and warm.

Well, I admit-I am not a perfume expert-I just know what I like. So I bought this from HSN “blind”-never smelled it before, never asked anyone “What are you wearing” and got this perfume as an answer. That being said….used it yesterday for the first time, got to work, someone stopped at my desk to say “Happy Friday” (and yes, it was a guy!) and said “Boy, do you smell great!” He kept coming over to my desk all day just to smell my perfume again and said to tell my boyfriend that this perfume is going to attract a lot of compliments especially from men so …beware! And that is what I base a good perfume on!! TA DA!! (:

This is a gourmand version of the original, smooth, semi sweet, nothing in your face, it remains a true french beauty, the sweetness is subtle, whiffs of praline mixed in with floral amd woodsy notes..I had it, gave it away, big mistake!! I am buying it again, in cooler weather this exudes lots of charm and prettiness..whereas the original Tresor was formal, and classic, Lumineuse is softer, more modern , still with the french touch!!

There are fragrances that you love on first spritz. The ones where you are just like “Mmmmmm” and with an unforced upturn of the corners of your mouth… if you are looking for that instant gratification, you must take a whiff of this version of Tresor:) Roses, yes, but of course! But roses and some chocolates – if this fragrance doesn’t spellbound you into an air of pure romance, I’m not sure what will. It’s very different than all the other fragrances in the Lancome lineup, and soooo different than the original as well. I wonder when I do catch a semblance to her big sister, is it just because I’m trying really hard and reaching to find the connection? It’s really a shame that this does not have a name of its own… I’m sure there would be much more attention garnered. I do love the design of the bottle – as if a princess-cut diamond with rounded edges…just like the original. The only thing is you would pass this up at the counter because it’s easy to mix up this one with the original! The only difference is the hue of the parfum is slightly different – but it doesn’t stand out, sadly. Marketing-wise, the house of Lancome did a huge disservice to such a gorgeous fragrance. Hopefully they will reconsider the packaging and name, or promote it some way, some how…
This is one of the newer flankers in the Tresor line that launched sometime in 2013. I’m surprised that it has yet to be reviewed on MUA, but at the same time, I’m not. Why? Because the shape of the bottle is exactly like the original Tresor. And if you know Tresor, it’s very heady, very distinct, very sophisticated, very heavy, very classic, very 90’s. Some say, it’s a bit too mature. So polarizing! And either you love it or hate it. So the lovers will stay true to the original. The haters will be turned off by anything that looked remotely like the original; and this new frag wouldn’t even get a chance on a paper tester.
However, this truly is a fresh interpretation of the classic. This pink-ish hued juice, is not just a watered down version of the original. This EDP takes on a personality that is sweet, playful, and carefree… but never let’s go of that that easy French sophistication that can only belong to the house of Lancome. It’s still a complex fragrance – it’s a sweet fragrance that has substance. So maybe the complexity and rose note ties it to the original? You can be the judge.
Some fragrances like to be bold and in the driver’s seat. Always out to prove something. Then there are the ones like this one. Just subtle but with something more. A girl who isn’t mysterious, but keeps you captivated with her friendly and kind ways leaving you wanting more and more. As a friend, she would be one of the ones you want to keep around forever. As a love interest, she makes all the boys smile because she is distinctly feminine but her bright and sweet personality makes her easy going and the boys like to hang out with her at the same time – she’s cool! Unassuming and never in your face and always independent. She cultivates all facets of what being a woman should be: brains, beauty, and personality. The trifecta makes her an inspiration that is unforgettable. So effortless and so modern chic – she simply sparkles.
When it comes to a collection of fragrances… I would say Lancome is my favorite (Yes, even more than Chanel… and I own so many Chanel Frags!) There is a fragrance to suit any mood. Tresor Midnight Rose is a must as well. I am now so happy I can be a Tresor Girl (thanks to all the flankers!)
