I received this fragrance for Christmas and was initially a bit apprehensive. I am 58 years old and not fussy about a lot of “new” (read created after 1990:) fragrances. Lately I have been all about fresh & citrus-y fragrances.
This one is lovely though. Not too sweet and not too sharp-very well balanced. Fresh while also feeling warm. It had a hint of powder but not old lady powder. Also a bit peppery to start then a bit woodsy and also whiff of floral..
It is soft and feminine and inoffensive. I would say it is a classic type fragrance & I love it.

safe for the office for me, like fabric softener with more warmth for winter. Got a couple compliments, so it’s a keeper.

Burberry Touch has an easy elegance that ensures its place among my longtime staples. Sweet but not sugary, its woodsy tones of cedar and oakmoss meet vanilla and fruit. The result? A light fragrance that smells of nature and secrets rather than perfume. To me, it smells like a walk in the forest after a good rain.

I decided to give this scent a try with a coupon I had for Bed Bath & Beyond. This is a very sexy, prominent scent in which men are always complimenting me on. Wood and vanilla are two words that come to mind. If you don’t like heavy scents or other Burberry scents in general, you won’t like this. But if you’re looking for a sexy, noticeable wintertime fragrance, give this a shot! I’m on my second bottle; I rarely repurchase fragrances because there are so many I love and want to try! This is definitely a staple for me for a long time to come!

This was gifted to me and I was psyched to try it as I’m a huge fan of Burberry Brit, my HG for the past 5 years, I figured this would be along the same lines as my beloved fragrance…sadly no. The bottle is classic, minimalist beauty and looks beautiful atop my dresser, I love the packaging! Scent is mediocre at best, probably along the lines of a 2.5 lippy rating if I’m being real here. Touch sounds like a sensual fragrance based upon its name, but it’s not warm and inviting as I expected it would be. I get notes of fresh linen, rose and cedar that dissipate after a few minutes, the scent basically disappears and has no staying power at all! I expected so much more from this brand and am glad it was a gift because I’m totally underwhelmed by this perfume. Won’t repurchase as it is very generic and not unique in any way or appealing to my senses.

I know that perfume is a hard thing to review but I always look at fragrance reviews before I will buy anything I havn’t worn before.
Burberry Touch for women was a pleasant suprise. I went out shopping for a winter sent and picked this up. I had never tried anything by Burberry before becuase for some reason I always assosiated it with older women. I decided to give it a shot and purchased it for around 30$ in a Marshalls.
When I got home and tried it on I have to say that I loved it. on me it smells deep rich and warm. Just like you think being bundled up sipping somthing hot would smell. I know that may not make sensebut this sent makes me feel like I am nice and warm on a cold day. I would say it is a wondeful smell for fall or winter.
I would certainly buy this again.

I am definitely not a fragrance expert, and I honestly don’t see how writing a review in words for a perfume could ever replace smelling it, but I feel compelled nonetheless to express this special love I have for Burberry Touch.
I have been wearing this for the last 10 years. I bought my first bottle when I was 14, and I remember that when I first smelled it on a strip of paper, the word woody came to me immediately. What really appealed to me was that it had a hint of vanilla to it too and that made it very different from all the flowery powdery perfumes I had known since my childhood that every grown-up woman was wearing. Obviously as a 14-year-old, I didn’t wear perfume all that much, but as I grew older and entered adulthood, I grew to truly appreciate Burberry Touch. It made me feel sophisticated and confident when I was wearing it, and it gave me a sort of presence. Not the conspicuous, look-at-me kind; rather a non-offending, discrete but can’t-be-ignored presence, pretty much like a tall but young, steady tree. It has accompanied me every day of my life, including on important occasions such as interviews, and I have had great success. Maybe, just maybe because Burberry Touch is somehow a projection of my personality, my aura, if you will. I do consider myself a down-to-earth person, corresponding with a woody fragrance, but romantic nonetheless, a trait I feel is mirrored by some of the floral notes in the perfume when you’ve just sprayed it on, and also by the warm scent that lingers on my clothes towards the end of the day, when I suppose the base notes shine through. And having read some reviews on it and found out what ingredients are in it, I realise that the pepper, which conveys a bit of a masculine scent to the perfume, meshes perfectly with my character. I find it funny how something I chose ignorantly at 14 years old so perfectly matches the person I am today. I suppose that everybody has a perfume specially tailored to them somewhere out there. I’m just really glad that I have found mine, and as much as I feel tempted by all the fabulous perfumes out there in the world, I think at the end of the day, nothing describes me as perfectly as Burberry Touch does and I will always come back to it as my comforting, signature scent. I feel that a review of perfumes isn’t of much help, but if you have a personality similar to mine, give this one a sniff and maybe you might find that it describes you too.

I’m giving this a 3 because I don’t love or hate it. Burberry’s site says:
“A fruity, vibrant fragrance of California orange, blackcurrant, dewberry and subtle rose oil
Fresh top notes of seductive jasmine, Madonna lily and tuberose with a delicate hint of peach and raspberry
Cedar wood, oak moss and vanilla complement the fruity notes, adding a soothing warmth”
Well, I don’t get orange, dewberry, rose, tuberose, peach or raspberry. (it is not very fruity).
I do get a bit of fresh floral at the beginning. But mostly it is an, almost aquatic/fresh but spicey fragrance. Perhaps the Madonna lily or blackcurrant could account for the spiceyness but it smells like neither really. There is also a spicey warmth to it and a touch of clean musk (but it is not very musky). The only thing about the Burberry description that seems right is that it does have a sort of “soothing warmth” to it. I don’t get much of the wood (cedarwood etc.) either. It is a good lightly spicey winter fragrance. However, the bit of fresh aquatic mixed w/ the more dominant spice makes it feel fairly masculine to me. It is not completely unfeminine but is definitnely more of a masculine/ unisex frag. to me. I wouldn’t wear it because it is too masculine for me. It is not offensive though.

This was described as a light perfume “just a touch” with bright fruity, berry notes like blackcurrant, dewberry, jasmine and raspberry notes but seriously thats not at all true and those berry notes just aren’t there! Neither is the oakmoss IMO. Yes the first spray there is a quick burst of fresh citrus, watery lotus and peaches and a hint of warm vanilla biscuits and tuberose. But within 2 minutes all the interesting part is evaporated away and all I can smell is a powdery oriental musk with lots of sickly cloying amber and tuberose.
I would describe it as boring, predictable, suffocating, sickly, smothering, clingy. When other people wear it I have the same reaction. Lasting power is very good, around 4 – 5 hours. If you like this fragrance I’d recommend applying just a tiny touch for evening wear only to fit in with other people as not everyone can tolerate powdery ambers and orientals.
Top Notes: Orange, black currant, dewberry and pink peppercorn, orange and rose oil.
Mid Notes: Tuberose, jasmine, Madonna lily, peach, and raspberry.
Base Notes: Vanilla, cedarwood and oakmoss.

This perfume is alright. I mostly smell powder.
