Sharp, fresh and intense citrus floral with strong pink pepper notes, juicy orange, and hints of mint. Great throw with just one spray. Reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal, but juicier, more balanced and longer lasting. Or something that Hermes might put out from his garden range. Goegeous packaging. Clinique Happy is way out of Tory Burch’s league. Happy is a cheap imitation that smells like one-note chemicals and gives me a massive headache.
Top Notes: grapefruit, pink pepper, currant buds and leaves, mandarin and neroli
Heart Notes: peony, tuberose, mimosa, jasmine, carrot seed and sweet alyssum

Yes, Tory Burch smells like Clinique Happy. Let’s just get that out of the way. However, the last time I smelled Clinique Happy was back in 2015 and something about the fragrance smelled “off”. There was a rubbery, latex condom scent that threw me off. Tory Burch smells now what I recall Happy smelling like back when it was first released.
I like Tory Burch, but not enough to purchase a bottle. It smells very professional to me, much like Modern Muse. When I smell it I envision a well-dressed female professional working in some sort of office setting. She’s wearing a blazer and her hair is perfectly in place. Perhaps she’s an attorney or works at Google. She’s smart and well put together.
This fragrance projects very well, so spray only once when you will be in close quarters. This is a sharp citrus “perfumey” perfume that I’m sure could give people headaches if applied with a heavy hand. However, with a light hand I think this is very nice. It’s not sexy or sensual or flirty or immature… Professional everyday woman is my best description.

I’m really impressed with this fragrance as well as quite a few other Tory Burch scents. It is a very well developed scent that has a lot of notes that blend very nicely with each other. Its a full blast of Orange goodness upon first spray. The box is bright orange, the perfume is orange so that sets the stage for what this perfume is going to smell like. ORANGE. The thing that really piqued my interest in this perfume was the carrot seed note. I have never heard of a note like that being in a perfume before. I can’t say that I smell carrots but the fragrance does have a bit of earthiness to it. May be a combination of the vetiver, cedar and the carrot seeds. Its quite a heavy scent in my opinion and fills a room up. Very long lasting too. To me it leans kind of unisex I guess because of the bottom notes and that earthy vibe I get. Very well done perfume.

I absolutely love this scent. It noticeably features orange and citrus. It smells extremely fresh and airy. It’s slightly sweet and citrusy. I originally got it as a sample at Ulta and immediately fell in love. But the price is limiting. Especially since the scent only lasts a few hours so you need to keep reapplying. I bought the rollerball because it was cheaper and I wasn’t sure I’d still love it. But a year later I’m still desperately in love with it. But now I’m having trouble even finding the spray bottle.

I love this perfume so much. I originally got a sample when I bought a wallet from Tory Burch and loved the scent so much I asked my husband to buy it for Valentine’s Day. This is a soft floral scent without being overly sweet. It is feminine but not girly. It’s easy to wear everyday and I always get compliments. I wish it was a little bit less expensive but the full size bottle has lasted me a year. I love trying new perfumes and rarely buy the same one again but this is one is wonderful enough (and I get enough compliments) this it’s worth buying again.

WAY too expensive for what it is, IMHO. Only 2 hours ago, I *generously* dabbed neck, wrists, hands, arms — all over! — from my EDP mini-bottle — and now I can barely smell anything.
A generic fresh citrusy thing — pretty & PC in today’s warm weather — safe & inoffensive in office settings, medical settings, elevators, church, etc — quite nice, actually — but IMHO we’re paying mostly for Tory’s name, because what’s in the bottle is weak. Weak! I sincerely doubt if she was ever much of a “perfume person” at heart — she seems to have just wanted to add a fragrance to her line. This is kind of meh, blah, simple, plain-Jane — and weak.
I have read that apparently Tory Burch meant to feature the cool, grassy note vetiver — her & her family’s favorite — and she said vetiver colognes have been worn by her family members for generations — both men & women, including herself. Tory is supposedly an outdoorsy tomboy type, and the fresh vetiver note is her (and family’s) favorite and is what she showcased in this, her first fragrance.
So I’m guessing maybe her dad & grandpa wore Guerlain Vetiver? — maybe she did also? (or Tom Ford Grey Vetiver? or Chanel Sycomore?) I read years ago that model Elle MacPherson once called Guerlain Vetiver her own personal signature — she had been wearing it exclusively for many years, she said. I personally have all three mentioned above — the Guerlain can be found very inexpensively these days, especially online.

Tory Burch is fresh, cool, & citrusy — kind of a Sprite-ish green floral scent, to my nose — along the same lines as Versace Versense, Pure White Linen Light Breeze, Chance Eau Fraiche, Bond 9 High Line (all of which I already have) — but much more watered-down & weak. Actually, I don’t smell any florals — I really don’t smell any of those heart notes listed above.
For those who enjoy wearing a fresh, clean, citrusy perfume that’s very safe & discreet & PC, this might be perfect for them.

I didn’t like it at all I found it to be sharp and unoriginal. As others have said remind of Clinique Happy or to me a lot like curve.

I sniffed a tester strip of this in a magazine, and loved it immediately! I purchased a small bottle on ebay rather than buying a full sized bottle as I have a tendency to lose interest in fragrances pretty fast. However, this is a very simple, feminine fragrance, easy to wear for work, and gets a lot of compliments. It smells fresh and clean, although not very unique.
It’s not unusual or dramatic enough to wear for a special event or night out, but it’s nice for daytime wear. I probably will buy a full size of this when my sample runs out.

When I ordered from Sephora, received this as one of my samples.
At first spritz, it reminds me of a subdued version of Happy by Clinique. When first applied, Happy is quite the wallop of citrus, but this is tempered by the musk and cedar. The musk and cedar, especially the cedar, take over during middle notes. During drydown, cedar abates a bit and can smell the tangy citrus and florals coming through.
I wear it on occasion, but it doesn’t tickle my fancy enough to purchase a bottle.
