This was my first gourmand perfume. It smelled quite sweet and strong. The most prominent notes I smelled are honey and black currants. I can’t detect any spicy notes at all. The EDP is a bit strong for me; I preferred the EDT. It lasted quite long on me. Packaging is beautiful. However, this is too sweet for me – probably gourmand perfumes are not for me, as I prefer either floral-woody and/or fresh citrus fragrances. Will not repurchase once I am finished this, as it is rather pricy. But, I may still use it if I got it as a gift, XD.

A delectable scent, certainly! It is quite strong, a with heavy tones, so one to avoid if you are prone to migraines. The fragrance is complex, with spicy and musky notes, but is wonderfully unique. The perfume lasts amazingly long, and even at the end of the day, I can detect it on my clothes. Buy it if you fancy something a little different from the perfume norm; I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I’m surprised the other review says this perfume doesn’t stay long, my experience isn’t like that at all. I first got a tester size of this with a L’Occitane purchase. It has a sweet spicy scent. I have a very sensitive nose for me the scent was too much – that’s why I don’t use perfume. Even the next day I could still smell it on my wrist where I tried the day before. I gave the tester to my mom and she liked it so much we purchased a full size. She says it lasts for a full day but I can still smell it on her neck when I give a hug the next day. (Again, I might not be a good example as I have a sensitive nose. But at the least it’s fair to say it lasts for minimum a day.)

The scent of this perfume is really nice, I like warm spicy scents. Other reviews I’ve read call it “Lavender Honey” – I smell no lavender but honey sounds right. My biggest gripe, aside from the expense, is that the scent doesn’t last at all. Within an hour I couldn’t even smell it on my wrist.
