I just bought a 1/2 oz. mini of this for peanuts on the Yves Rocher site (R.I.P. M. Rocher). I don’t think I like this. There is something sour and annoying that overlies the soft and tender jasmine. I need to live with it for a while before I make up my mind – I’m always apt to change – but this one doesn’t seem to be for me.

I, too, think some Jasmine perfumes are a bit too harsh, but this is actually nice! VERY pleasant and not offensive, which I like! It is soft, but at first, it was quite STRONG! Dries down nicely. I get a slight fruity twang to it, but it’s mostly a sweet floral. A powdery floral. Lasts longer than the Verbena and Nature scents that I have from Yves Rocher, which is shocking, since most last maybe 30 minutes! Anyway, this smells quite expensive when compared to their other offerings.

I love Jasmine so I tried this new YR jasmine perfume. It is a combo of jasmine and citrus on first sniff–which, as another reviewer mentioned, mutes the jasmine. However, I don’t think that is a bad thing–I like the softer scent, and it makes it more subtle and wearable. I might buy it again, but probably I’ll just stick to my other favorite scents from this company. EDIT: Downgraded to a 3–it’s too muted–I don’t get much of a scent of either from this.
