This is a very light and crisp fragrance that is perfect for spring and summer wear. The tea and citrus notes are very light on the skin.
The honey comb design of the Aqua Allegoria bottles are so beautiful and look amazing when displayed on a shelf or vanity. I do find that the Aqua Allegorias are lighter and do not last very long on the skin. But that is what makes them great for the warmer months.

Most of the fragrances I own are wearable regardless of the season. They may subtly change in which notes are more amplified, but they work whether it’s hot or cold, humid or dry. Teazzurra is one of those perfumes that does not. In the summertime, Teazzurra is wonderful. It’s a crisp explosion of citrus top notes – yuzu, lime and bergamot – followed by astringent, herbal green tea. There is a lush, slightly indolic jasmine in the base and a hint of ozone. It’s very refreshing and the base lingers all day, blooming in the heat. However. In the winter, Teazzurra is, frankly, awful. It emits an unpleasant, bug spray-like scent. The jasmine in the cold, dry air becomes artificial and the ozone takes on a metallic edge. The citrus notes, while still bracing, shrivel in the cold. In all, thoroughly unpleasant. Back on the shelf it goes until June. It will look great there because it has the typical gorgeous Guerlain packaging.

I was eagerly waiting to sample this Aqua Allegoria, after all Thierry Wasser has created my favourite from this line, Lys Soleia. I know he can do a decent job even though I’m disappointed with the newest Guerlains I’ve tried.
That said, found Teazzura decent but nothing more than that. Opens with a pleasant blend of citrus (lemon, bergamot, yuzu and grapefruit) but then instead of transitioning to refreshing green tea SWEETENS immediately and feels like wearing warm camomile beverage with the obligatory and oh-so-imaginative base of vanilla, musk and calone. Meh.
