Smells exactly like Penhaligon’s Artemisia. I hated that one, too.
I actually like most of Kenzo’s fragrances, but this is just powdery, musky, soapy blech. Not summery at all. I also hate the stupid bottle, which is pretty on its own but leaky without the stand, which is ugly and awkward. Thumbs down.

A nice, “yellow” scent. It’s thick and rather warm but could be worn in summer. For me this is great perfume reminding of summer, sunny days, when it’s cold outside. Brings sun and smile. Summer smells like a tanning oil or baby powder. Mimosa + violets (a little hint) + soap. There is something plastic, synthetic in it (could it be indole?). Similar scent: you can try Daylight by G.Sabatini – fresh and peppery version of Summer. I love them both.

I am one of those people who is fragrance-buying challenged. I can try out maybe 3-4 fragnances in a store before saying enough, and walking out, and I usually buy something I liked on a friend or in a magazine. I bought Kenzo Summer when I ran out of an old favorite and needed something new and chose it after smelling around 6-7 other scents (big mistake). At home, the smell is practically undetectable when I put it on and even more so after an hour. Even at its best, this scent was too weak and too bland.
