   Sold first at HSN.com (no affil), and I later saw it at CVS drugstore in Aug 2014, here are its fragrance notes:

   •Top: Cassis buds, juicy blackberries and luscious plum nectar
   •Mid: Purple violet and Colombian luna musica orchid
   •Base: Earthy woods softened with toasted praline, vanilla absolute and creamy sandalwood

   Sofia contains a nice selection & balance of notes, to my nose. This EDP has the right amount of strength & lasting power — it’s a lovely rose-colored juice — and it’s packaged in a tall, clear, emerald-cut glass bottle — which is easy to store — & easy to see how much you have left.

   I’m wearing it now and have been for hours. I received a 3.4 EDP + lotion + purse spray gift set for Mother’s Day — which had been purchased from HSN.com (no affili) — and it’s a very nice scent. I’ve been analyzing away, and I can’t find one thing wrong with it.

   It can be strong, but only if you want it to be — I find the strength easy to control, since it has a well-made sprayer — and after applied it has good throw and lasts very well. It’s worth your money — it does not disappear.

   The scent has no patchouli, and it’s not heavy. It’s sweet and fruity, but not over-the-top syrupy sweet, like Flowerbomb & La Vie Est Belle (I can’t wear those 2 uber-sweet scents). It’s not scratchy, or rough, or woody — not spicy — not too fruity or floral – not creamy or powdery — not heavily musky. It’s a really good all-around blend.

   To me, it’s kind of like 2/3 Euphoria + 1/3 La Vie Est Belle — only fresher, lighter, brighter, and more purple-fruit juicy, with no rough notes or excessive sweetness. And there’s no patchouli in Sofia — so I can’t call it a “fruitchouli” — but there are still many perfumes out there in this same general family.

   This is a well-constructed perfume, very nice — one of the best of this type.

   This is the new perfume commissioned by Sofia Vergara and created by Bruno Jovanovic (Pulse.)

   Described as: A juicy, oriental floral scent Top notes: plum nectar, blackberry, cassis bud
   Mid notes: Colombian rose, purple violet and Colombian luna musica orchid
   Base notes: woods, toasted praline, vanilla absolute and sandalwood

   It is a Flori-oriental, my favorite class of perfumes and I was not pleased with the initial spray (a burst of blackberry and plum that seems to dissipate.) The cassis bud (very green) lingers along with cedary woods. But the dry down is persistent and fruity-warm-sweet. The plum mixes with the rose and is powder with a woody-vanillic base note. I detect a LOT of cedarwood in the base. It reminds me of Hypnotic Poison for the sweetness of plum and the woody rosewood, or like Angel. It shares the blackberry, plum, vanilla and rose with Angel.It also shares notes with Chopard’s Wish. (fruit, orchid, vanilla, violet, sandalwood.) It is not quite as heavy as Angel, Wish or Hypnotic Poison but in the same sweet floriental class. I like that kind of perfume, so I was happy with the drydown. In fact, I came to love it after spraying it on overnight and letting it sink in.

   If you like the sweet Orientals, and are willing to wait for a great drydown, this is actually a very good perfume, of excellent quality. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous–a cut emerald shape. The perfume is a rose gold pink color.
