I love this, it smells very much like a sexy skin scent. I felt it was musky but also creamy/nutty, which for me made it feel more feminine than the other reviewers experienced. For reference I am a girly girl and normally wear fruity/floral but was surprised by how much I liked it. I paired it with the lotion and it lasted for hours and Dh said he thought it was sexy:)

This is a very pleasant fragrance, but it’s not a women’s fragrance, thus the lippie off. TBS should specify that this is at least a unisex scent. I ordered it for myself, but it smells like a man’s aftershave or cologne, le sad. Don’t get me wrong, a very nice men’s cologne, but there’s no way this is a feminine scent. It it is sweet, warm and spicy smelling. Like you’d want to nuzzle a man’s sweater or coat to get a nosefull. Probably what you’d call balsamic, masculine through and through. It reminds me of an old Banana Republic scent called Rosewood. I can’t really go into particular notes here because actually it just smells kind of generically spicy and male, not really of shea (which actually doesn’t have much of a smell). As far as silage goes, it doesn’t have a lot, which is fine by me. In other words, it sticks close to the skin and does not waft around. However, it does last. I used one spritz on my cardigan sleeve and I could still smell it strongly by evening, so it’s definitely long lasting, but you don’t risk blasting those around with a scent cloud. A nice male scent, would not repurchase. Hope my H uses it up!

I actually like this scent. It does smell rather masculine. I think I’d very much like to smell this on men! It has a sharp aftershave vibe from the get-go, but there is a creamy, cozy, subtly sweet nuttiness to it that gets more and more pronounced with time. Totally unisex, but I can see females not enjoying this as much. Get it for your husbands and boyfriends, ladies! It’s actually pretty good and it lasts about 4-5 hours on me. I think it would fare alot better had it been marketed as a ‘unisex’ scent. I wouldn’t purchase this for myself, but I would for any man in my life.

I personally do think that this smells very close to the Shea body butter, you get a little alcohol when you first spray it on but that soon dissapears and the nutty creamy shea scent is left. The bottle is pretty crappy but TBS is not known for “pretty” fragrance bottles anyway. I wouldn’t repurchase not because I did not enjoy the scent but simply because it absolutely doesn’t last, not even when layered with the body butter, the scent seems to dissapear very quickly!

I love the soft, creamy, slightly nutty smell of The Body Shops Shea Butter and had hopes that this would smell like it. Unfortunately, it is much sharper and leans toward a musky base instead of a soft and creamy one. Not completely unpleasant but could be a thousand times better. Disappoints in terms of lasting power as well.
