On my skin this is strongly lilac with faint perfume-y notes but it’s so sheer it fades fast and is gone before I can truly appreciate it. I understand it was meant to be a additive to bathwater, so that might explain the fleeting nature of it’s scent. Still, for a little while, it’s lovely.

I love this perfume!!!! I was looking through my grandma’s closet when I found this classic!!! I sprayed it on my wrist and the scent was very offensive and strong!!!! It smelled like Peptos and smelly sweat and the scent was very strong but 10 minutes later, it turned into a very delicate lady like innocent powdery champagney scent which is so classic!!!! Ne’er judges perfume during the first 5 minutes because you never know when the nastiest perfume can become your favorite 10 minutes later!!!! I only wish it was a spray bottle because this is more like a spill bottle rather spray bottle!!!!

Originally named Royal Bain de Champagne, you now find it under Royal Bain de Caron. Royal Bain has the effervescence of champagne, there is something light, bright, sparlky and fizzy about this blend of springy fresh garden florals with just a hint of powder and woodiness and enveloped in warm sunshine. It’s a scent for fresh spring days or anytime you want a scent that’s not there to make a big statement.

Well not as bad as I feared. The original was wonderful, uplifting and glowing. this is pretty, powdery and fruity, nice but Caron please, ‘if it aint broke, don’t fix it’

Absolutely charming. A soapy bubble bath, which changes to the scent of after-bath powder. This is a very fun scent. It is a mood lifter for me, and I get my anti-depressants in perfume form. I don’t usually like powder in scents unless they are light, and this is clean and light. Very pretty. The sweet vanilla-like base sticks around a long time on skin. Not sure if I’d buy a bottle of this, but I will use up my decant and enjoy it.

Nice scent, with gorgeous drydown.

Light, summery, violets and powder fragrance. I like the covered in pink bubbles reference made by darkhoney, most apt. I like it but am not sure I would buy another bottle, a bit too much powder in the end. Must try it in the bath.

This used to be a fantastic frangrance, but it seems to have suffered from a make-over and has lost most of its charm. I find it depressing. Can’t understand why Caron could dammage its own fragrances so much. It’s a shame.

This is a grown up fun, fuzzy scent. It is a buxom woman coquettishly covered in pink bubbles. It does have a similar juxtoposition of airy and sweet that Apres L’Ondee has, but this is on the opposite end of her melencholy spectrum! I’ll have to get a suitable atomizer for this scent…I want to spray it all over in addition to adding it to the bath.

Very unusual smell, very old world. But happy and playful.
I wish it would have some more staying power, but i guess its more of a splash than a perfume.Reminds me of some exotic sweets i tasted in Morocco, what was made out rosewater, honey and who knows what else.
