Sweet coconut, sand, and light fruity-floral notes dominate on this one. It’s a fresh fruity coconut—not overly sweet or overly suntan-lotiony. I like it a lot! Perfect for summer and very refreshing. Longevity is about 4 hours and sillage isn’t very strong, but it’s a happy, fun, delightful summer scent. I really enjoy the Instant Vacation line by mark and this one is no exception. It was LE, but still easily found online!

I got this in a Yankee swap from my future mother in law. I like it but then again its nothing like my Tommy Girl or T Girl. Its smells like citrus and other things I cant quite put my finger on. Its not a bad smell but just maybe something I wouldn’t wear everyday. Truth be told Im only wearing it today because I am seeing my mother in law tonight and I told her at the yankee swap that I loved this 😉 lol

i LOVE this perfume! i was looking for a good summer perfume and this is it! its very tropical. im not so good at describing scents but its very tropical and island-y haha.
the lasting power isn’t the best but it lasts long enough but im in love and def WILL repurchase!

This has a great beachy feel to it kind of similar to Avon’s Tahitian Holiday but the lasting power is zilch on me. I mean, it’s gone in minutes not even an hour. It doesn’t cost much but still for the price, I’ve had cheaper body sprays last FAR longer than this. I like the scent but wouldn’t re-purchase based solely on the lasting power.

Bright and very sweet at the beginning, generic drydown.
Smells just like the inside of Jamba Juice.
This reminds me a lot of the BCBGirls perfumes. It’s somewhere right in between Star and Sexy. In other words, it has the uniqueness and lasting power of Star, but the strange, dry herbal spice twang of Sexy.
Unfortunately, this dry, herbal twang that makes many more “mature” perfumes so unbearable is the only complication that Rio Bikini has beyond being a simple coconut/orange scent.
When you first spray it on, coconut is all you’ll be able to smell. An incredibly sweet coconut that’s been saturated with sour orange juice.
And then, the drydown sets in. The coconut is gone within 15 minutes, and all that remains is orange with a bizarre cigarette-like twang.
Come to think of it– it smells exactly like Sunny Delight used to taste. Remember that stuff? Did you like it? I didn’t like it then, and I don’t like Rio Bikini much, either.
It’s a fairly pleasant orange, don’t get me wrong– but I was expecting more from mark, because their makeup is of such high quality for the price.
