I think the bottle of this perfume is cute and if you smell it from the bottle it doesn’t smell half bad but the actual scent on me is so musky and too strong and this was gifted but unfortunately, I don’t like it and now I’m trying to use it up.

On me, this is a sweet floral with a touch of spice, rather than musky. It is beautiful and does not dry down to Red Door (which I also love for the honey note in it).

I received a bottle of this from a friend. This perfume has a really great smell in the bottle. It smells sophisticated and mysterious. Unfortunately, this, like many other fragrances, morphs into a horrible, stale smell once it’s on my skin. One lippie from me.

Where is the NR?? I swear the first time i used this it was just like NR…couple of uses i can bearly smell anything 🙁 Good thing it was very cheap too bad i got this online or i would return it..

On my skin, it smells like a less complex version of Narciso Rodriguez for her. I smell a lot of musk and not much else. It’s pleasant enough and doesn’t have anything to do with the original Red Door.

I hope this is not really a limited edition. It is so fine and so rich smelling without being expensive. I found a 1.7 ounce bottle for sixteen dollars at Marshalls.
This is sweet without being cloying, and starts with the most wonderful earl gray tea note in the beginning. I always see Red Door and Red Door Revealed at the Marshalls and T. J. Maxx’s, there is no excuse to discontinue this!

I was so surprised when I smelled this, I immediately bought it. I am a fan of Narcisso Rodriguez For Her (in EDT and EDP formulations)
So imagine my surprise when a fragrance that costs half that much evokes the NR EDP (and to some extent Lovely), except richer warmer, a bit sweeter and stronger. Very cozy smelling to me, and non cloying even with the added sweetness. Very pleased with the lasting power and price of this perfume. Another reviewer got it right when she described it as an evening version of NR. Fantastic!

Who’d have thunk it… my new favorite musk from Elizabeth Arden! It really is similar to NR or Sarah J. Parker’s Lovely, and since I like both of those, I was hooked the moment I smelled Velvet. It’s a bit more “evening-y” than the other two, but I sill love it, and I especially love the price LOL. NB: I really have fragrance ADD, I can’t stick to one for too long, and I’m also a bit of a brand snob when it comes to fragrance, which makes this an even more surprising and delightful find.
