If the original Red Door scares you with its shoulder-padded, full-on 80s wallop— Revealed will delicately entice you with its light freshness. It’s not a flanker, it’s a completely different and much more modern scent. Created in 2003, Revealed has much in common with other “radiant soapy pink florals” of similar vintage, such as Lancôme Miracle, Lucky You, and all the various cherry blossom themes perfumes that hit the malls in the mid-00s (not Japanese, just straight cherry blossom). It is bright and soapy on first applications and dries down to fresh, pretty lily, jasmine and orchid. It’s soft and demure. I actually like the original Red Door on its own (very different) merits, but Revealed is perfect for casual days when you just want to smell good. The price is right, too.

As with most, if not all, of Elizabeth Arden fragrances Red Door Revealed is a floral…flower on top of flower on top of flower on top of flower. Just how i like it. A real bouquet beauty. It’s difficult to pick out any one flower but the main one is peony and a close second rose. The fragrance pyramid says there are lilies in the scent but i cant make them out but i am positive they are there. They are just buried under the multitudes of peonies and roses. The way i like to apply this fragrance is take the bottle and put it at an arms length away from my head and then start spraying. The fine mist falls on my head and shoulders and i feel like i’m being rained on my flower. It’s a beautiful effect. Red Door Revealed has nothing in common with the more popular Red Door. Revealed is its own fragrance. It doesnt scream a heavy perfume smell. Just nice, beautiful florals. The bottle and perfume are nice too. A light pink bottle and light pink perfume and the lasting power is amazing. Spray yourself liberally and you will be sending up beautiful floral notes all day long. A real winner Revealed is.

I tried to love this scent. I love all things soft and powdery, but I also want it to have a sexy edge to it. Some kind of draw you in cant stop smelling you dry down. This was just a generic soft and somehow sharp, maybe the roses? Maybe there is something too green in there that I dont like. To me sharp and green do not make for a come closer scent. The lasting power was not good, maybe 5 hours. Then it is completely gone. I usually dont have a problem with scents lasting most of the work day, but this was gone by lunch.

I LOVE THIS SCENT! Seriously, so feminine, classy, sweet yet not cloying at all, and lasts all day!
Unlike the original Red Door, this is actually good.
I’m 19 now, and going to use this till my 80’s 🙂

I wasn’t a fan of the original Red Door, but this one is much better in my opinion. It is a delicate feminine scent of soft florals. First spray was quite strong, but it mellows out to soft orchid on me. Really like alot!!

I have to agree with the previous poster, men generally love this scent, I’ve not had any guy that has complained that he hated this scent and one of the more notable comments were ” you smell like comfort “, no! not the laundry softener scent but the feeling kinda comfort. I mean what better can you get than a perfume that makes you smell like something someone wants to nuzzle right?lol
this is my all time favourite HG perfume and I have about 4-5 bottles stocked up cause they seem to be slowly discontinued and can only be found online.
I’m not a good perfume describer but it’s a very soft floral smell that not too sickly sweet, sophisticated but not too old. it doesn’t start off strong on me at all but seem to become a very consistent scent after about 30mins, if you’re someone who wants OOMPH then don’t buy this cause it’s one of those fragrances that integrates itself onto you and lingers but never flaunts,personally I wear it for all occasions and wish they didn’t try to discontinue this.
will continue to use this until I find a perfume that’s easier to find 🙁

it starts off STRONG..but will die down to a nice sweet smell….

Initially its overwhelmingly powdery, with orchids, something fresh like spearmint, some sweetness, a hint of creamy musk and something sharp. Its choking with all that powderyness and I dislike sharpness in a perfume but after an hour it dries down to a classic sweet creamy musk and thats really nice.
