Love this! It’s a more playful version of the Poison girl EDP & has something complex about it. It’s definitely fruitier and more caramelly than the EDP but not in a cloying way. It smells like a delicious bitter orange, caramel vanilla desert without being synthetic. I always receive so many compliments when I apply this. I can see it being suitable for all seasons The sillage is not as strong as the EDP but it’s strong enough for arms length. The longevity is great for an EDT: lasted on my skin for around 7-8 hours before fading into nothingness. Overall very well-rounded fragrance that is suitable for all occasions whether it be first dates, office environment, school environment. It’s a crowd pleaser for sure! I can definitely see myself repurchasing this for life

Sephora YET AGAIN offered a 20% off for Rouge (I swear this is the 5th 20% off in 2019), so I decided to use it to purchase a big bottle of Poison Girl EDT. I’ve heard so many positive things about it, but never had the chance to smell it and I don’t know anyone who wears it. So this was a blind purchase. ANd it went well.
Poison Girl EDT has the same almond-y playdoh vibe from Hypnotic Poison mixed with what I would describe as Marigela’s Beach Walk and a touch of orange hard candy. It’s more musky than it is sticky sweet, which is a very good thing. Sometimes sweet scents that are thick and jammy can make my stomach turn. However, Poison Girl is one of those lighter sweet scents that envelopes you rather than screeching. It starts strong at initial application but gets much softer within 30 minutes. Longevity isn’t bad, but the sillage could be a bit stronger. Expect to reapply, unless you enjoy quieter, more intimate perfumes.
Before purchasing I had read reviews comparing this to YSL’s Black Opium, and I can *somewhat* agree. I do smell some similarities, but I like Poison Girl much more. Black Opium is more candied sweet, while this is more musky sweet. But they do favor each other.
If you like flirty gourmands, then you probably will like Poison Girl. Poison Girl definitely is not a groundbreaking release, but it is pleasant and there’s a VERY strong chance that your husband or boyfriend will like smelling this on you. It’s a girly, flirty, fun gourmand, which most men seem to love. I also think this will do well in the summer heat… In fact, I think an elevated body temperature will only help the perfume to last longer and increase the sillage. The sprayer is a very fine mist so it sits on the skin very well.
All in all I like Poison Girl, but I wouldn’t purchase another bottle because, again, it’s not groundbreaking and I have many, many fragrances. But I WOULD recommend it to others and I find it very pleasant. I’m glad it’s finally in my collection.

I found this to be a pleasant scent, sweet but not too much and also not too strong or too light. The only issue I have is that it did not last all day and I did not care for it for everyday use.
It is feminine and much lighter than the other Poison versions, however, “Poison Girl” does not really match the scent. I agree with others that it is more on the mature side than what I would label girl.
That being said my 10year old loves it lol. We rarely agree on scents and she really likes this one a lot.

This was a Christmas gift and I actually like it. I agree that it is a gourmand scent and is nice to wear during cooler temperatures. I can smell the fruit notes and it dries down to a creamy vanilla note on my skin. It has pretty good longevity as well.

I am a bit of a scent snob; I really find that my nose is sensitive enough to pick up on different notes, and since I have smelled almost every fragrance on earth I can often pick out which fragrance anyone is wearing on themselves (have done this to strangers before, no shame!). With that being said, I didn’t expect much from this scent. I originally saw the ad for it, as well as reviews and I had a mixed opinion on this. I own Dior Hypnotic Poison and love it although it does not sit well on me – someone once asked if I had smoked a cigar before work, but I still wear it. And yet with just one spray of this I was hooked. It is described as mostly balsamic on Fragrantica but to me it is a quintessential gourmand – it is not sickly sweet, it has depth and it is definitely dynamic. It’s almost as though Aquolina’s Pink Sugar has a much more chic, successful, slightly older sister of which Pink Sugar would like to be when she grows up! The scent sits close to the skin, but the sillage that comes off of the body is just divine and simply addictive, I cannot stop smelling my wrist. I will be wearing this on my wedding day in September and I cannot wait.

Poison Girl is Dior’s latest women’s fragrance. It has similarities to last year’s release Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. This has a really fruity opening, lots of berries and orange. There is neroli and roses as well. It has a playful vibe that is sweet as well. It shares some DNA with Hypnotic Poison with the almond and vanilla in the dry down. Not a bad scent at all, actually it’s quite an interesting take as a Poison flanker.

*My review is for the Eau De Toilette. I do not see a spot here on MUA for the EDT, so I am just adding my review here.
Berries, berries, and MORE BERRIES..with a bare hint of sweetness, is how this opens for me. Upon first spritz, I do not detect the ‘This is yet another Poison flanker’ vibe/scent.. But a strong berry scent, which is odd, because I do not see anything berry listed as the notes, and the notes listed, I do not detect. There is also a soft creaminess to this, which for me is unusual for the Dior Poison line. This for me is a lot softer than the other Poison flankers.
Having said all of that, after this settles on me after about half an hour, I can indeed detect a little ‘yes, I am a Poison cousin’ ..but a very distant cousin. I suppose I detect it because I have had almost every Poison over the years and I think I was one of the very first to own the very original Poison, back in the day. So a nose versed in Poison will pick that up. But even though there is a so very slight, small Poison scent that pulls through once in a while after this settles… I still smell berries.
The bottle is the usual Poison shape, which is comfortable for my bad wrists to use/spray. A great Spring/Summer scent for me, great if you are, like me, someone whose perfumes and fragrances really amplify in the heat and humidity. This holds the same scent on the dry down for me as the opening. Lasts all day, not overpowering like many of the other Poisons.
I know I am probably not the target for this scent, as I am in my mid-40’s, but I do enjoy a fun, flirty, BERRY scent apparently, lol..type of scent now and then.. Nicely done.
