Nice little scent we got here. It really does smell like a juicy pear. I tried scents from Marc Jacobs called Rain, Cotton, Cucumber and this one…Pear and Pear was my favorite. It’s a happy little fragrance…..like pure sunshine on a summer day. Unisex too. Maybe not the longest lasting but so what. It’s a nice little scent. A little woody on the drydown which is the Teakwood note. Lasting power is good and it seems to project rather well too. Big, chunky, sturdy bottle too. Great job Marc Jacobs recreating an authentic pear scent.

The bottle is huge! I had to hold it in one hand and spray it with the other lol. This would have lasted me forever had the annoying CS woman at the airport not slammed my bag down. Spilled all over everything! I’m not good with describing scents but this one smells really good. If I smelled it on someone else I don’t think a pear would come to mind though. I was wearing it all summer and everyone was asking me what perfume it was. I want to try the others! 🙂

love it love it love it! the bottle is minimalistic pretty and its well worth the money at 300ml. i would say its quite a unisex scent and thats what i love about it.

I’ve been meaning to get some MJ scents and I tried this one in the shops. At first it didn’t smell of anything special but after a while it gives off this classy fruity smell. It does kinda smell like a mens scent too but this can pass off as unisex.

lovely chic fragrance from my favourite designer. i dont like the smell when first applied but soaks into you skin after a few minutes and creates a lovely fresh femine scent. huuuggge bottle so you are definitely getting your moneys worth ( 55eur ). i tipp the fragrance into my little spray bottle so i can tote it around with me in my makeup bag for a top up of the lovely scent whenever i need it.

MARC JACOBS ‘Pear’ Splash is a fruity fragrance with top notes of pear, mid notes of freesia and base notes of teak wood. It’s a very refrshing fragrance, perfect for the summer. I like the light scent and the big size of the bottle.

Love this fragrance, hate the bottle. On the plus side though the bottle IS huge so you do get your money’s worth for the price. Like someone else said when you first put it on it smells like something your boyfriend/ husband could wear but as it warms to your body it takes on a nice light feminine scent. This is my first experience with a Marc Jacobs fragrane and I really like it.

I think it was the mention of juniper and gin notes that made me want to try this. I love the smell of gin. Anyway, I’m not great at picking out notes in fragrances, so bear with me. MJ Pear definitely smells like pear, but it also has a sort of feminine department store perfume scent, a chic quality that my usual single-note fragrances don’t have. I’m definitely sold on it — it’s sweet and fresh, but sophisticated. The bottle is huge and gorgeous, but unfortunately kind of a pain to hold.

When I first saw this in Holt Renfrew I took a sample to see what I thought of it…well, the very next day it was SOLD OUT at every location! lucky they recently got some in from another province! I scooped it up immediately !!! I LOVE this fragrance…it is somewhat unisex, but on the fruity side so it is still feminine enough for women..a very sexy warm scent!! Great price too for the HUGE size the bottle!! i can’t stop smelling my arm!
