One of my favorite older Avon scents….sweet ambery patchouli rose…with a hint of oakmoss and vetiver to balance it out. Very earthy but sexy, I’m glad this one is still available on ebay and has not completely disappeared forever. I wish they’d bring it back, I’d love lotion in this scent to layer it with.
The patchouli is what dominates in this one—7 hours from 2-3 sprays and it dries down to a soft patchouli amber after about 4 hours or so….but remains sexy and earthy throughout the wearing. The bottle is easy to hold and evokes a sexiness as well. I don’t think it reminds me of Lacroix Rouge at all (I have both)–I find them very different from each other.
If you love a well made patchouli-rose-vetiver scent, grab this one–you won’t be sorry!!

i bought the eau de parfum edition, it is awfully strong, i mean when you first wear it you smell this interesting fruity scent, but after a while you get bored of it! The middle notes are so strong that makes me sick! The worst of all is that even after a good handwash the smell didn’t fade! I gave two because at least the initial notes were original and didn’t remind me a cheep copy of a “famous” perfume. If you are keen on strong fragances then try it! believe me it lasts too long!

I hated this fragrance, it made me feel sick, I ended up giving it away. But to be fair I am pregnant, and this can sometimes affect your sense of smell. But the whole experience has turned me off and I would not re-purchase.

Is this perfume a joke? Its so bad it literally smells like Raid. Give it to someone you really hate.

This is awfully strong. It is similar to a cross between Timeless and Imari.

I have learned to get samples when at all possible before buying a fragrance. In the past, it has been 40/60 with Avon fragrances not in my favor. This one was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. I would have to agree it was a bit masculine after it flowered, but I like that about this scent. It mixed well with my body chemistry and lasted most of the day. I wish they would come out with a lotion for it.

I tried a sample of this today, and I have to have it. Its a deep, mysterious scent. Hard to explain, but its definitely worth a try. I can’t wait to get the full size bottle.

I think this smells a lot like RL Romance to me. I would say they are in the same “family”, in fact I sprayed both on and they smell quite similar.

I like this. I am not overwhelmed with joy, but it’s nice. I do smell of lot of the rose, but it’s not a grandma type of rose. It has musk also. I would recommend this, especially for like a weekend.

I detect a strong citrus in this new scent. Smells fresh and invigorating. Scent did’n’t seem to linger long on my skin. I felt I needed to touch up the scent after a few hours. A nice fragrance though.
