Hi!
I bought this perfume online without knowing previoulsy how it smells.
i was attracted by the commercial, packaging(box),the bottle.
The commercial is ancient Greek Godess in modern times.I like ancient Greece because a tinny part of me is Greek.
The box is powdery pink. Those angel wings are awesome as a tattoo.
The bottle is a little bit old, like 1920’s,but with a modern twist.
I thought the scent will be summery, light, flower. In change is powdery, salty, too much vanilla and sandalwood.I want to like it,but I don’t hate it.

Once this fragrance dried down, it smelled almost like rancid powder. I also found it cloying and very synthetic. I will not purchase.

Let me start from the bottle… It’s so elegant and unique, it looks pretty good in my vanity. The fragrance itself is very unique too: a little bit on the sweet side (vanilla), marine (salty notes), floral and woody. It lasts and projects so much, perfect for Spring and Summer (only Summer nights because it could be strong). I have a 30ml bottle and would buy it again.

I dislike being the seeming vote of dissent on this, but everything about this is just very ‘average’ for me. To me, this is not a unique scent. You can find many similar scents out there at any fragrance counter.
To me, this starts as a very heavy floral fragrance that dries down within about half an hour to an overly sweet, chemical/synthetic, cloying, vanilla scent. I just feel this has been done to death and I feel in particular this fragrance has many notes in it that could trigger allergies, so I would be careful and not wear this in crowds or large groups of people, esp being this is heavy on the floral in the beginning and then heavy on the vanilla as it dries down, so for me, I just won’t wear this in close spaces or places I will be around the same people for any length of time. I just feel it is too heavy at first, and then too overly sweet to be a ‘crowd-pleasing’ type scent.
Not a terrible fragrance, but nothing special, either.

Oh this by Paco Rabanne smells good, think its my very first try of the salty note which I didn’t understand until now.
I have a sample and am so very tempted to buy a large bottle. The bottle a nice shape that will fit perfectly with my other fragrances

I was given a sample of this. I’m loving it for the summer and it’s very long lasting on me! It smells fun and flirtacious. Maybe I will get the full size of it

Olympia smells really good! Its a very longlasting perfume, it stays all day.its a bit pricey but i think its worth it

I kind of hate to say this, but it smells to me like the love-child of La Vie Est Belle + Calvin Klein Reveal. Equal parts of both. It’s sweet, soft, powdery, warm, and nude — with a bit of salty tang, but that’s subtle. Soft and fairly sweet.
Olympea by Paco Rabanne launched in 2015 (their feminine counterpart to Invictus for men) — here are notes, per parfumo.net:
Top Notes – Green mandarin
Heart Notes – Salted vanilla, Ginger lily, Water jasmine
Base Notes – Cashmere wood, Ambergris
Very nice — a softer, calmer version of some others — a sweet, soft, “nude” fragrance, very feminine.
ADDENDUM 9/29/16: I sprayed this on before bed the other night and thought it was wonderful and told myself I needed to wear it more. Then when I got up the next morning, I didn’t like the way my skin smelled — and wracked my brain, trying to think of what I had sprayed — because I didn’t much like it — then I remembered it was Olympea. This changed my mind — it wasn’t so great after all (maybe it’s the salt note). Lowering lippies to 3.
This is my standard litmus test — spraying the night before and then getting my first impression the next morning before I can remember what I’ve sprayed. Sometimes I wind up appreciating the perfume much more than I did before (Poison Girl, Gucci Bamboo, and many others) — sometimes much less (Olympea).

This is a powdery, citrusy white floral. Very feminine and heady but of course it’s too subtle. Love the scent. Top notes are green mandarin, water jasmine and ginger lily, with vanilla. The base notes are sandalwood, cashmere, and ambergris.
